Great place to stay if you're looking to explore Gettysburg. Close enough that you don't have to drive far, but far enough away that you have peace and privacy.

Amazing location in the mountains. Great location to everything we needed during our stay as we were back and forth to Gettysburg, Emmitsburg, Mount St. Mary and Thurmont. The cabin was very well maintained and created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with how clean the bathrooms and kitchen were. It was a great place to relax and detox.

This large home was perfect for our small group of seven 6th grade students and 4 adults to use as a home base for their adventures in Gettysburg for two days. The set up both in and outdoors made for excellent spaces for group enjoyment and small group gatherings/meetings. The students found plenty of things to do on their down time and the adults enjoyed the luxury accomodation! Logan was one of the most responsive hosts I have had on Airbnb so it was very easy to communicate with him before and during the stay. We definitely plan to bring our students back next year!

We had a really great time on this secluded, luxurious property. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals for 11 adults. The sleeping accomodations were very comfortable. Their outdoor spaces were neat with spaces to relax and have fun. I would highly recommend this property for a family or group that likes to relax and can make their own fun.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the home was beautiful and well-stocked. It very comfortably fit our party of 9 plus an infant and was a short drive to both Gettysburg and grocery stores. The homeowner kept the home well-stocked and clean, which was very much appreciated! Overall great experience!

This is our second time staying at Ms. Kathy's place, she is a great host, the unit is clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and has a well equipped kitchen. The back patio is ample, peaceful, and next to a small lake. The unit is within 15 minutes driving distance to Gettysburg, PA. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had visited “the creek” previously and have returned because the setting is so calm and peaceful and the apt is so cozy and comfortable. Kristy is quick to respond and very accommodating with any requests. The deck is wonderful although the winter weather made it a bit chilly to sit out. We did walk along the creek both mornings as it was sunny but brisk. This tranquil spot is very close to our son so we hope to return.

Super cute spot with great amenities and a comfy bed. The whole place is very clean and there are so many great details from the s’mores kits to use at the fire pit to the extra toothbrush in case you forget yours.

Loved staying at this little getaway. Easy check in and check out; convenient location; overall I had a lovely stay!

We were in town for a family visit. Teresa’s place was great and convenient for us! She was quick to check on us when the weather caused the power to go out for a few minutes.

This apartment was clean and nicely appointed, and even had an electric kettle and teas, which I appreciated as a tea drinker! The bed was very comfortable. Our favorite thing though was the fenced in large backyard that had a bocce court and nice little fountain. Jeff and his wife were very friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations in the area and responded quickly to our texts. We would stay here again!

We recently stayed here for my wife’s birthday. We can not say enough good things about our stay. The building is stunning, the inside has so much character and is beautifully furnished and decorated. We tried to enjoy all the areas. Had a fire in the common room, enjoyed the hot tub while the snow fell and our room was comfortable! The bed and pillows in our room were the best we’ve ever slept on in a Airbnb before. So much so we read the labels and ordered the same set for home. lol the rooms are big and the bathroom and bath relaxing. We are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The Hosts were always responsive and gave us great recommendations for the area. You will not be disappointed if you book your stay here.

We were passing thru from SC to NJ and decided to stop for the night but hadn't booked. Christopher's place came up and he was quickly able to let us know his unit was available. Parking is in the back in a private lot. Bed is huge and soft as a cloud. We didn't cook or eat there so can't offer input. bathroom water was hot, TV had captioning. Heat and AC worked well. Beautiful park on the water directly across the street. Many restaurants around. A terrific, last minute stop that didn't disappoint.

We had a wonderful stay at Emily's cabin. The place exceeded our expectations. There are so many thoughtful touches that made the place feel extra cozy. The wifi is a little spotty but that wasn't an issue for us. It was so nice to enjoy coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Barely any cars drove by during our stay which made it feel extremely private. We definitely would love to return when it's warmer to enjoy the firepit and more time outside. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful and extremely clean. We had a wonderful time watching the snow and wildlife through the windows while staying cozy by the fire. Beds were comfy and neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. Would definitely go for a restful retreat again.

My family loved staying here! From the footbridge across the creek, to the goats, to the quiet surrounds: everything was perfect. Mark was extremely responsive when I had questions. We look forward to staying here again!

Very comfortable, peaceful gem. Chris was very responsive and even reached out proactively about an additional AC unit given warmer temps to be sure we were comfortable. We used the grill, fire pit and totally enjoyed the trail. Having coffee on the deck each morning was idyllic!!

This Cabin was exactly what was described and more! Beautiful cabin beautiful location! The Cabin has everything you could possibly think of and it’s beyond peaceful! I’ll definitely be coming back!

This cabin was picturesque! Beautiful area, located on the edge of pastures and very peaceful! The cabin is very charming and the host, Susan, was very respectful, responsive, and helpful! We would definitely stay there again! Shepherdstown is a small town straight out of a postcard! Harper’s Ferry which is rich in history and beauty is just a 20-25 minute drive away!

Our family (Myself, husband and 3 teenage boys) stayed here twice. Once on the way down to North Carolina from Massachusetts and changed our original plans on the way back to stay here again. Beautiful and comfortable location with plenty of space for our family. Just over a half hour to Baltimore and just over an hour to D.C. which my family loved because we planned to sightsee in the city. We got to do all the city things and come back to a quiet, cozy beautiful farm that had great energy. We saw deer along the roadside every evening we heading back as well. Restaurants, gas stations, stores etc were within minutes. Everyone loved looking out the window and seeing those majestic cows, chickens and farmland. The house was very well appointed with all the amenities you could need while traveling and then some. It was also beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The host were very friendly, accomodating and responsive.We highly recommend and hope to stay again during our future travels.

Joe and Lori were absolutely great hosts, very helpful with check-in, local recommendations, and things to do on and off the property. The cabin is exactly like it looks in the photos, cozy and comfortable, with a great screen porch, very comfortable beds, and a really well-equipped kitchen. The property has gorgeous gardens and flowers, a pond, a trout stream playgrounds for the kids, and walking trails, and the surrounding area is stream valleys with farms and woodlands. We loved our stay and really appreciate the hospitality and kindness of our hosts. 10/10 highly recommended!
