It was a joy to stay at Mazin's place during our time in Oman. We wanted a calm location where we could rest but easily access main areas of Muscat etc, and this apartment was an absolute gem. It felt like a little home away from home. Every detail was very considered - it was immaculate, smelt beautiful and Mazin is incredibly kind, helpful and generous as a host! The balconies are perfect to relax on in the evenings or to watch the sunrise from in the morning, and the front room has a smart TV for easy viewing. Location was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood ~5 minutes away from the supermarket and ~20 minutes from Seeb Beach and many other key locations. Highly recommend!

Mohammed's house is neat and located perfectly just before the Balcony walk, the only reason I chose to stay there. The location is perfect and peaceful. Since we are vegetarian, we carried our own food, but there is an Omani family nextdoor who were offering home cooked meals. I plan to revisit next month with a friend visiting Muscat.

The accommodation is located in a closed complex. The house is on 2 floors. On the ground floor is the entrance hall. On the 1st floor you have 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, the kitchen and the living room. On the 2nd floor, there are 2 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a room with a washing machine. The pool and jacuzzi are located in the garden next to the house. The house is functional, but you'll need a car to get around. The neighborhood is very quiet. The host is very responsive to messages. Check-in and check-out are very easy.

Khalid war ein freundlicher und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er hat uns erlaubt früher einzuchecken, somit mussten wir nicht erst auf nachmittags warten. Er hat einen concierge der immer erreichbar und sehr freundlich ist, Check in und Check out waren damit einwandfrei möglich, auch wenn die Kommunikation aufgrund der Sprachbarriere etwas eingeschränkt war. Khalid und sein concierge mohamed haben uns sogar omanische Süßigkeiten, Wasser und Kaffee bereitgestellt. Leider heizte sich der Pool erst am letzten Abend so richtig auf, an diesem konnten wir ihn leider nicht mehr nutzen, da unser Flug früh morgens war. Tagsüber brauchten wir bei über 40grad keine Heizung, dafür war der Pool genial. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass er zwischendurch mal sauber gemacht werden würde, er wurde über die Tage etwas schmutzig. Das Haus ist im großen und Ganzen aber echt schön gewesen, wir haben die Zeit dort genossen und würden ein weiteres Mal dahin. Ich werde die Unterkunft Freunden empfehlen.

I had a wonderful stay at Waleed's place. The accommodation was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-located. Waleed was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would gladly stay here again in the future. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Made a last minute reservation since my flights changed and Ahmed was very accommodating. Was the perfect space to rest and unwind before a long international flight.

Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt in dem wunderschönen Haus von A‘idah. Was mich besonders gefreut hatte, war die Tatsache, dass die Gastgeberin gefragt hat, ob wir sie denn persönlich kennen lernen wollen und wir haben freudig zugestimmt. Eine äusserst freundliche und hilfsbereite sympathische Frau. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder zurück 💗

Booked via Airbnb, but actually a villa in a resort complex. And this villa is absolutely fantastic. It’s quiet, spacious, and offers all the amenities you would expect from a hotel. There’s even a small kitchenette with a stovetop for those who want to cook… 😉 Everything was perfect for us! Highly recommended.
