Hidden Cottage, Porlock

Located centrally in Porlock village, this cosy cottage is tucked away in the small winding back lanes. The cottage has an open plan sitting/dining room with log burner and French doors opening out onto its own private decking area, perfect for enjoying morning coffee in the sunshine. Porlock is the perfect base for exploring the unique Exmoor countryside, with the moor on its doorstep and the beach one mile away. Dogs are welcome at Hidden Cottage, we ask for a £10 fee, towels are provided.

Owlscombe

Owlscombe is perfectly positioned on the coastal slopes of Exmoor with uninterrupted, panoramic sea views across the Bristol channel within a short stroll of the pretty harbour village of Porlock Weir and its amenities. Owlscombe is a very special holiday home which is perfect for large family gatherings or friends getting together to relax or celebrate a memorable occasion. The house is a magnificent, modern, 6 bed / 6 bath property that sleeps up to 12 people and is family and pet friendly.

Vist the beautiful coastline & peaceful countryside of Somerset with lots to do in the area for all ages. Our house is detached, well equipped, spacious & south facing with walks & off road cycling from the doorstep & wonderful views, star gaze from our patio! We have 4 doubles, 1 single lovely beaches nearby, a large garden, patio BBQ & fire pit, dogs are free. The kitchen is well equipped, I may be able to be flexible on dates & numbers . Home made scones & a bottle of fizzy welcome you!

The detached house is on two floors, sleeping accommodation and bathrooms are on ground floor with kitchen, sitting/ dining room on first floor, enjoying sea views overlooking the picturesque village of Porlock. There is ample parking and only a short walk to a variety of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. There is a private courtyard and access to a garden. Your hosts are experienced hoteliers, with an eye for quality, and are normally discreetly on hand to attend to any queries.

Our hut has a wood fired hot tub heated for your arrival on the first night, comfy double bed, wood burning stove, outdoor firepit and your own private toilet /shower room just 30m away making this the perfect space to experience nature with all the luxuries needed for a truly relaxing stay.

Private off-site parking is available and pets are welcomed, free of charge. Please note during July and August I offer minimum 7 night stays, minimum 3 nights the rest of the year.

Kennel Farm lies within the Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Barle, 1 mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton. The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

Boatman's Cottage is a delightful stylish cottage tucked away in the centre of the wonderful Exmoor village of Porlock. Believed to date back to the 1890s, this cottage is part of a small terrace originally built for boatbuilders and their families. The cottage row is described in the Historic Exmoor record as 'having a pleasing sense of seclusion' and it certainly does, yet a short walk along the mediaeval Drang and you are in the heart of the wonderful Porlock Village.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Nestled on the edge of our family small holding on Exmoor with a herd of Red Devon cows, horses, chickens, sheep and dogs. Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep. If you want to relax, unwind and enjoy this area of outstanding beauty this is the place to be.
