Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

There is lots to do like rock climbing the Churnet valley Boulders, Eating and drinking at the 4 pubs of Alton. Walking the staffordshire way or exploring the many forest tracks on your doorstep. You may want a fun packed day at Alton Towers park or spa. Cook on the BBQ, sit on your tree swing or relax in our Hot Tub or toast marshmallows on your fire pit and listen to the owls hoot.

This quaint and cosy cottage is located in the heart of Alton village on the edge of Dimmingsdale. Close to fantastic pubs, walks, cycling routes, JCB, and of course the famous Alton Towers. The Cottage consists of two bedrooms- the first offering a double bed, the second with a single suitable for a single adult or children. The Dairy has a large open plan living, cooking and area plus 2 separate double bedrooms and bathroom. Our Hot tub is available to hire for at an additional fee (this doesn’t have jets). It has a private south facing garden plus access to the adjoining field. Views of the fields, Dimmingsdale and the Churnet Valley. Outdoor seating with BBQ.

Beautiful secluded romantic lake house retreat

Located right on the water's edge of Rudyard Lake in a conservation area of the Staffordshire Moorlands, this bespoke boathouse conversion is an ideal romantic break for 2 in a very beautiful, quiet setting surrounded by woodland with perfect views up and down the lake. Although we can accommodate 4 in total, Inglenook boathouse is most suited for couples. The sofa bed is comfortable for up to two children but not suitable for two adults.
