Place was great! We loved the pac n play so our son could sleep and we didn’t have to bring one on the plane.

It's a nice place with super comfy beds and fancy bathrooms, as everyone says! Unfortunately the living/dining spaces and furniture are much less comfortable, the layout isn't the most conducive to spending time together, and the kitchen was missing some key items. To her credit, Hila was very responsive and even overnighted a box of missing supplies, and offered to fix issues quickly. But a lot of things weren't there as we needed them: a kettle, oven mitts, foil, the salt was almost out, only canola no olive oil, etc. While there were a lot of nice touches around the house, there were just as many small annoyances that felt like they wouldn't be tolerated if someone lived there. If you plan to spend most of the day out and just come back to sleep, wash up, and hot tub, this is perfect. If you want to cook and be cozy/comfy together, maybe not ideal? This was the PERFECT relaxing getaway in the redwoods. The hosts are super responsive and caring, and the attention they put into details and comforts is wonderful. Would absolutely come again!

Denise is a fantastic host. Not only is the place gorgeous and accessible, but the amenities are top notch. She's very responsive and accommodating to any of our requests. We celebrated our one year anniversary here after having a great time last year and this could very well be an annual thing, it's very special to us. Hands down, must stay. The redwood tree house was amazing. It was spacious and had everything you need to get your trip started off right. The spiral staircase was a little hard to maneuver, but thats the only thing that we struggled with. Valen checked on us to see if everything was good to ensure we were doing well.

We had a peaceful and lovely stay! The cabin was cozy and was close to many hiking and lookouts spots. Great place to get back to after a day of exploring to relax.

The area, house, and host were all amazing. Highly recommend staying at this house for your Sonoma trip!

Airy artsy cabin in woods, perfect locale for a ladies weekend. Large windows make it feel like your one with the outside world. Close to all the beauty and cuteness that the Russian river valley has to offer.

This place was five stars. Would book again. The location was within 5-10 minutes of some of the best wineries in Sonoma, but it still felt private. Only two issues, neither of which would stop me from booking again: 1) they had quiet hours from 9pm to 8am, and monitored our sound levels with a decible meter (we didn’t have any issues), and 2) I would not pay to heat the pool again. I was told I could not control the temperature, it never fully heated up, it turned off overnight, and I spent a lot of time on the phone trying to figure out how to work the equipment after it went offline. Heating the pool ($500 for three days) was too expensive for the experience.

Amazing place? Great heated pool, love the house has a lot of stuff and very well appointed and decorated. It has the best palm trees very safe, Our kid loved swimming in the pool. Strongly recommend for any stay! This is our second time here and will come again for sure. Love how the rooms are laid out, bathrooms.

We had a fabulous time staying at the Alexander Valley Lodge. The location was fantastic -- private, peaceful, and beautiful, while also being a close driving distance to Geyserville and Healdsburg and all the wonderful wineries in the area. The master bedroom is huge, open, bright, and surrounded in windows and decks with gorgeous views -- looking down at the pool area, and out to the woods. We paid extra money to heat the pool, but unfortunately, even though the day was pleasant (72 degrees and sunny), the pool was shaded by the trees, so we didn't spend much time in the pool. But on a hot, sunny day, the pool would be a wonderful way to cool off. It's smaller than anticipated, but perfect for dipping and floating. We enjoyed the hot tub. We comfortably sat all eleven of us around the dining room table off the kitchen. It was fun to be able to share a meal together. The living room is split levels, with a pool table on the upper level and the couches on the lower level.

Frank was very easy to work with and was extremely responsive. Penngrove is such a quaint town. Franks place feels like a treehouse! So beautiful inside and out.

We loved the place and will be back there again. The location is isolated but convenient to both Sonoma and Napa.

I was in search of a peaceful relaxing experience and this was it. The solarium dining area is such a good zone for breakfast, journaling, friend chats. Love the cool decor, coffee-tea service and the gift of farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was elevated in the forest in an amazing way, we loved the views. We spent a lot of time soaking, and would say this was definitely a highlight of our stay. If you are not sure-footed, this may not be the place for you to descend to the hot tub. Fortunately it was not a problem for us. We did not need extra temp control for the first week of May. Pleasant and comfortable. Garden areas are lovely and well landscaped. A very friendly neighborhood. Overall, a great experience.

We absolutely loved this getaway in the redwoods! It was very peaceful, quiet, beautiful, and had everything we needed. Near everything you need in town, but also great if you just want to hide away for a weekend. The host was extremely communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

This home was perfect for my wife and I! It was peaceful and cozy. The Jacuzzi was perfect for two. The outside deck had amazing views and was super relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the nature, Conservancy walk was the icing on top!

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

Quiet, peaceful, secluded and serene! Lovely place for a restful weekend.

This was our second stay - such a special house situated in a perfect spot. We just love the feel of the place and it’s hard to beat the view and peacefulness of the location. Don’t miss the walk down to the beach (our kids and dog can manage the last little climb down with the rope), or sitting in the hot tub in the morning and evening. Easy drive to Mendocino and other spots as well.

Great stay! Perfect location for getting around! Hosts were amazing and super easy to work with! We’ll definitely be staying here again for future vacations!
