Our backyard is Grandfather Mountain, and Tanawha Trail is within walking distance of the property for hikers. Grandfather Mountain, Price Park, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, wineries and and all of the restaurants of Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are minutes away. Finish the evening watching stars and chilling on our covered outdoor patio.

An easy 6 mile drive takes you to the center of the town of Boone, and Blowing Rock is easily accessible at 3 miles away.

We're located 20 minutes from Boone and 15 to West Jefferson, and even closer to the Blue Ridge Parkway and New River activities like fishing and tubing. Cozy Riverfront Duplex with Hot Tub close to town

Payne Branch River retreat (A) is nestled on eleven acres of privately owned riverfront property in Blowing Rock, NC. The New River runs directly in front of the property and provided unique access to pristine, hatchery supported trout fishing. We are ten minutes from Appalachian Ski Mountain and two miles from downtown Boone with easy access to 321. Our Happy Little Hut

Come and stay in our unique quonset hut just 15 minutes to Boone! This is a half circle metal building turned into a unique tiny home cabin experience. This 400 sq ft space has everything you need including a bedroom, bathroom and upstairs kids loft. The main area has colorful wood details and an accent wall with 100 year old barn wood right from our own farm. The water is straight from a natural spring up our mountain. This space is ideal for couples, and two kids.

The Bitterroot Barn

The Bitterroot Barn is unique small structure with a queen size bed, two twin size beds in the loft. Built by Gary from the show "Mountain Men" on History Channel, it has a Full bath, kitchenette, Roku TV, Wifi, and a Bluetooth Surround Soundbar. There is a gas fire pit, small grill on the porch. If you are looking to experience what a nice tiny home feels like, we highly recommend visiting the Bitterroot Barn. We are less than 7 minutes from downtown Boone.

Blowing Rock Tiny House

Nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains only ten minutes from both downtown Boone, Blowing Rock, App Ski, and Blue Ridge Parkway hiking, this fully-equipped tiny house on wheels is a great spot for vacation or an extended stay in the Appalachians. Note: this is a tiny house. It is 8' x 26'. It is very comfortable for up to two people (maybe three if the third is a very small child).
