The tiny house is gorgeously designed and the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. The shots were warm and welcoming, and they heeled us with local recommendations and transportation. The plunge pool and outdoor shower were such a treat, as were the beautiful ocean views from the window and hammock. If you want to take a break, this is your place.

Jocelyn’s Holmeways was exactly that… a home away! From the minute we arrived to leaving we felt like part of her family in a warm welcoming environment. The apartment is spacious, spotless and in a fantastic location. Jocelyn’s hosting, knowledge of Grenada and connections are immense. We were shown a wonderful local experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a memorable trip.

Monica was very responsive and welcoming. We felt safe and private throughout our stay. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. We were scheduled to checkout on Saturday but due to the late ferry crossing we were able to checkout late at no additional cost. The number 10 bus took us around most of the time but runs in intervals. We stayed two nights, for longer stays i would suggest a rental. I would highly recommend Monic’s place and definitely would return.

Everything was in line with the photographs and descriptions. The location although slightly out of town has a superb view and is quiet and I found the bars and restaurants easily walkable. Pat was always available to answer any queries but I had a stress free 6 month stay and have already booked to go back for a short stay later in the year.

We can’t recommend Lucinda’s place enough. She came out to greet us when we parked, helped us bring our luggage down, gave us all of the recommendations you could imagine, provided the most delicious breakfasts and dinners, and even made us a special meal after I mentioned offhand that I had it once and loved it. The views are unmatched and the breeze off the ocean keeps it feeling cool all day. We’d love to return to Almost Paradise

We loved the home, the location, the semi-private beach 5 minutes away. John and Anita were extremely responsive guests. They also recommended a boat tour with Michael, which was wonderful and cannot be missed. The only negative part was the welcome from the local manager Nurlyn; we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and she was clearly upset about it. She was in a big hurry to leave, so she did not explain anything about the house. There was not even a small bottle of water, so we had to go out to get it. She said the front door was always open and we could not lock the house, which left us very concerned. The good thing is that John and Anita called her the next morning, her attitude changed, and she sent someone to fix the door. Overall a wonderful experience!

Delightful! Stunning view of Caribbean Sea from the deck. As a working cocoa estate you get to talk with workers and get their stories and roles in the daily life of this plantation. Kim and Lylette have re birthed this small operation from a ruin, to a notable chocolate estate. Kim has a genius for making equipment work with repurposed parts. He has an interesting story for just about everything there! The workers are friendly and freely share their role and experiences. The treehouse is surrounded by jungle that comes alive after a rain. Trek up a trail that leads to the cocoa. It’s all around you. And there are bananas and other fruits growing there too. Try making your own lemon grass or bay leaf tea, freshly picked on the path to the treehouse. Come prepared with bug spray and long sleeves and pants and some closed in shoes. It’s a unique experience, kind of like camping, doing most things outdoors. Very calming and relaxing. And yes the chocolate is smooth and rich!

Exactly as advertised; very peaceful and quiet. The view was phenomenal. We went as a couple for a getaway, and spent almost all our time on the deck. We went to sleep listening to the waves each night, and woke up to a beautiful sunrise each morning. The beach was empty, and the town quiet. Our only regret as first time visitors to the island was that we didn’t stock up down south, as there are better supermarket options.

We’ve just had the most wonderful stay in Carriacou with Dominic & Wendy who are incredible hosts & have the most amazing place. We have done a lot of travelling & we can honestly say it’s the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed. They have created the most incredible space with impeccable attention to detail. They are also so friendly, welcoming & helpful, we were made to feel so at home and cannot recommend Prospect House enough. The dogs were so friendly and we are going to miss them massively as they were so well behaved and greeted us every morning! We hired a 4-wheel drive Jeep and this is necessary for accessing the property but by no means detracts from any aspect of the holiday - if anything it just adds to the whole feeling of just being away from it all - however everything is still very accessible if you want it to be! In summary it was absolutely wonderful - thank you in no particular order to Beans, India, Casper, Wendy & Dominic! Mel & Gary xx
