Wild Orchid Farm

Located on a working farm this charming studio unit is in the upstairs of a newly renovated 1800's farm house. Enjoy the exposed rafters, kitchenette, private bathroom, four-piece bathroom with soaker tub and separate one-piece shower. Turn in for the night on bamboo sheets under a handcrafted wool comforter. This is a working farm with cows in the field, chickens free-ranging (the rooster crows early!) , and Alpine dairy goats. Located just 4 km from StFX University and downtown Antigonish.

Our sleeping cabins resemble lobster bait shacks similar to what you’ll see in PEI’s fishing harbours. They were lovingly handcrafted using Island white Cedar. They are rustic but cozy, comfortable yet basic. Located centrally in a village close to all amenities, the Confederation Trail, Les Iles de la Madeleine Ferry Terminal(CTMA), Souris beach and other famous beaches are a close drive away. Filled with antiques and refurbished furniture, pianos, and organs. This is our third cabin we have installed on our four acre property. There is an exclusive 6 person hot tub off the veranda and the sauna is only steps away.
