Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

In a secluded rural setting, our home and garden is within reach of Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, West Coast, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh. Cosy pubs and restaurants, wonderful walking, castles, whisky distilleries, quaint villages... Come back to a real log fire and enjoy the big traditional farmhouse kitchen. Well behaved dogs welcome too!

Daisy Snug - Port of Menteith

Nestled in the heart of the stunning Trossachs and just a short distance from Loch Lomond , this cosy one-bedroom annexe is the perfect retreat for two. A peaceful, self-contained hideaway, it offers complete privacy with its own access and a beautifully furnished veranda, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The annex is designed for comfort with a partially self-catering setup, featuring a microwave, kettle and toaster for your convenience. A perfect base to explore and relax.

As dusk falls, cosy up around the firepit or light the cabin wood burner, planning your next adventure exploring fabulous Loch Lomond.

Soak in the views, breathe in fresh air & relax. Studio is bright and airy and modern with stunning views of Ben Lomond and National Park. The sunsets are incredible. A perfect retreat and is a wonderful base for exploring all the area has to offer. Most of our visitors wish they had stayed for longer. Come with time to relax and enjoy the surroundings and bring some food to accompany the chilled bubbly waiting for you. You will not be short of choice for things to do in the area!

Dalveen Garden Cottage

Our cosy garden cottage with bedsit, kitchen-diner & log-stove is the ideal base for exploring the Trossachs/Loch Lomond National Park, Glasgow, Stirling & Edinburgh. Located in scenic, rural Kippen, we are a short walk from shops, post office and 2 gastro-pubs: The Cross Keys and The Inn. A farm shop/cafe with a Deli counter is on the outskirts. Located an old military road, the village features historic buildings & Kippen Church with stained glass windows by Herbert Hendrie.

Deer Park Cottage, Scottish Private Estate

Deer Park cottage is situated within the private Scottish estate garden and is surrounded by the deer park. It is the most secluded of cottages and offers a very private and natural hideaway. Powered by wood pellet boiler and on its own water system supplied from the Ochills you can feel completely at one with nature. On occasions you can wake up to deer grazing within feet of your bedroom window and be lulled to sleep by the hooting of owls or wind blowing through the trees.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

The Wash House: a Cosy Romantic Countryside Escape

The Wash House is a beautiful, cosy cottage adjacent to a charming Schoolhouse built in 1857. This space was once the schools laundry facility. Character has been retained in this beautiful modern space. Our little slice of paradise is at the gate way to the highlands and 5 minutes from doune ( for those Outlander fans). It is perfect for those wanting to explore the beautiful surrounding area or even as a stop over on route to the highlands.

Holly Croft is a stunning four bedroom cottage right between the beautiful villages of Fintry and Kippen. Our cottage is the perfect place to escape from the city with stunning views right down the valley. We are 20 miles from Glasgow and Stirling and a 20 minute drive to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs national park. Wether you want to completely chill out, read, paint, deer spotting or walking this place is perfect for your needs.
