Carbon Hill Cabin hosted by Rebecca was a cozy getaway for a brief weekend. We felt right at home as we settled in to the 3 respectable sized bedrooms, single bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The outdoor amenities were also great even though we only were able to use the hot tub. Appreciate the towels on site for hot tub use! We were about 30 minutes from Hocking Hills trails we did but the drive was scenic and no one was in a hurry.

We were in town for Ohio University graduation. It's approx 18 min from OU. The place was perfect for our large group with many beds. The 4 bedrooms were perfect for a bit of privacy. All of the beds were VERY comfortable. The place was spotless and very nicely decorated. We LOVED IT. Would definitely stay again. It was a bit tricky finding it in the dark ( but that was our fault b/c we got there later than planned for check in and the Google maps wasn't quite sure where it was. We quickly figured it out and had a great time!)

This was our second time staying at The Cottage and our experience was incredible, yet again! The peaceful, private setting is exactly what we were looking for to unwind and enjoy nature - and watching the horses in the distance created such a unique experience. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pond and exploring the trails along the property. Martin was very communicative, as well as responsive and accommodating as we decided to extend our stay an extra day because of the amazing time we were having! We will definitely be returning next year!

Gorgeous place to stay, beautiful scenery and lake. We got on the kayak and caught some big fish!! Owner was very fast at responding and super helpful when we needed something!! Totally Recommend.

Jolinda's Dorr Run Retreat was clean and everything we needed. Close to the event we attended and located in beautiful Hocking Hills, it was also close to Nelsonville's restaurants and shops. Until now this area of Ohio was unknown to me. It's an American gem bursting with natural beauty, history, and some of the most exciting roads to ride or drive.

Exactly as described. Enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeders. Extremely peaceful. Would definitely return.

Cozy and warm, plenty of space. I was there to visit my son at OU and it was a bit far from campus, but we enjoyed some time on the hiking trail right out the back door, and playing cars on the porch, so it all worked out. Good communication from the host, thanks so much!
