Athens, NY Entire House - 1 bedroom Quiet Country setting Winter time is a great time to escape to upstate NY. Guests have called it "a very cozy cottage in the woods". It is set back off the road and a great place to get away and unwind. 10 minutes from Exit 21 on the NYS Thruway and is an easy drive to several towns on the Hudson River. They are known for their restaurants, local shops and quaint downtowns. Area features outdoor activities: hiking trails, skiing,snowboarding and kayaking.

We recently rebuilt the entire interior of an old brick building and imagined the first floor (*** the entrance is at the back of our house***) as a guest unit for our friends & family during visits. When we do not have friends & family visiting, we are offering this space to you! We are architects by training and have placed our aesthetic energy in making this unit modern but also cozy.

The Casita is a studio apartment comfortable for solo travellers, couples or just two folks who don't mind sharing a bed! We’ve endeavored to make it a comfortable stay for a weekend or even longer, with all basic amenities, a queen size bed, standing shower bathroom, and kitchenette. Although it is an apartment on the ground floor of my house, you will have your privacy with a separate entrance off of the driveway which is for guest use during the stay.

Located on the second floor, the suite features custom antique accents and original artwork that evoke a sense of adventure. Located inside the private, family-friendly Sleepy Hollow Lake community with guest access to pools, beach, tennis courts, & basketball (May-Sep). A peaceful retreat - come watch the hummingbirds from the porch or have your morning coffee looking out upon the lake! The cabin faces west over the lake so it's a wonderful spot to watch the sun set!
