Situated 6 km from Glendalough and surrounded by hiking trails it is the home of artist Patrick Walshe and his wife Rosalind. Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Nestled in the privacy of our organic farm the off grid hut sits with panoramic views of the Redcross valley down to Brittas Bay and the Irish Sea . The hut is beside a canopy of mature beech trees and on some days the nesting kites will give aerial displays to lift one’s spirits . At night the sky scape is uninterrupted and the stars can almost touch you The dawn breaks over your deck and the setting sun gives you witness to the splendour of the nature surrounding you.
