The Summerhouse provides a comfortable base to explore the many attractions of the surrounding area. Birdwatching, photography and coastal walks along lovely beaches are popular pursuits as is stargazing at night. A small onsite restaurant provides meals and refreshments friday, saturday and sunday. If you want to relax, this is the place.

Liddesdale Lodge sits on the Isthmus of The Rhins of Galloway and Stranraer, perfectly situated for walkers, cyclists and wild swimmers. With its close proximity to Loch Ryan and other beaches makes it ideal for all other water based activities. Stranraer Golf Club can also offer golfers discounted daily rates. The ferries at Cairnryan are 14 minutes away. The self catering Lodge enjoys rural aspects, and is within walking distance of local bars, restaurants, shops and parks.
