Get that touch of British history while relaxing in this bright and spacious apartment. Play a few tunes on the piano or take a break on the welcoming sofa. Then cook something delicious and invite a few people over for a traditional English meal or relax in the garden with a coffee The apartment sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms. The main bedroom is a lovely and bright twin aspect room with a super kingsize double bed. The other bedroom has a single bed with a pull out single bed to sit alongside. This bedroom can be perfectly adapted for children if required. Both rooms have plenty of storage. All linen for beds is provided. The family bathroom has a bath with over bath shower mixer. Luxury towels are provided. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD music system and a dining table and chairs to seat 6 people. The kitchen area is well stocked with everything you could need including microwave, washing machine and dryer, stove-top hob and double oven. The apartment is very well laid out and set over the first floor it has its own private entrance and free parking within the private gated grounds of the main house. The annex is modernly equipped with WiFi and TV with Sky Cable Television & DVD player. Wifi is available free of charge if you bring your laptop. Bowling Green House has an interesting history and William Pitt a former British Prime Minister lived in the house and died there in 1806. The current art deco house was built on the site of the original building in 1933. Bowling Green House is in a great location in Zone 2, just 5 minutes from the bus routes to central London, Wimbledon Village or Putney where the train or the tube will whisk you into central London in 15 minutes. It is not only ideally located for Wimbledon tennis and the shops and boutiques, bars and restaurants of Putney and Wimbledon but also provides an ideal location to walk, run or explore the surrounding green areas of Wimbledon Common and Royal Richmond Park where the many activities include cycling, running and horse riding. Alternatively you can travel by river taxi going East to the Houses of Parliament & Tower Bridge or West to Hampton Court Palace. If you have a car or you wish to rent a car there is free parking and Bowling Green House provides easy access to the A3 and M25 and of course central London. On site you will receive a welcome pack with our tips on where to go to eat and drink, transportation links, and local gems. Entering into a hallway, on the left, there is an open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table set. There is a main bathroom and 2 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower. All tastefully decorated to create a homy feeling at first sight!

Lovely apartment close to the river thames, Barnes

Barnes is a very pretty town in south-west london over the hammersmith bridge. The apartment is very close to the river thames were there are many good pubs, bars and highly rated restaurants. Its perfect for romantic summer walks down river to Putney past landmarks such as craven cottage (fulham fc) and Fulham palace and gardens. Going up river towards Mortlake you can enjoy beautiful veiws in nature and observe swans, boaters, rowers and joggers in their natural habitat. Barnes is the best!!

The houseboat is a unique place to stay in London, within easy reach of all of London’s landmarks, including Tower Bridge and Tower of London (5 mins by train). The boat is moored within a marina which means that there is very limited boat movement on the water. Very light open plan living room/kitchen incl. dishwasher and combi-washing machine plus all the kitchen gadgets for cooking if you should wish. Nespresso coffee machine with pods provided. Little balcony (can just about squeeze a chair on there!!). Petite but perfectly formed bedroom with a double bed and built in wardrobe.

It’s a fully furnished, non-smoking flat but there is a balcony for smokers! The 22 bus goes from the end of the road into the westend. Putney main line train station & Putney bridge tube station are both 15 mins walk away.
