Cleanliness is our #1 priority! Bright and intentionally furnished with decor by local artists, our heart has gone into every detail.

Edge of the Wild - Guest House @ R Farm

1100sf, single story guest house that's a couple minutes from the town of Rifle, yet backs up to vast open space. Sheltered from view of the highway by trees, boasts tremendous sunsets over the Roan Cliffs, and views of the Hogbacks and Mamm Peak. "R Farm" is a developing farm w/ sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, and cats. The guest house is adjacent to our family home and near the barn. Abundant opportunities for local outdoor enthusiasts exist or simply stay and enjoy the abundance.

It is a great launching point for day trips to Moab and the Grand Mesa as well! It was built to maximize the southern exposure and views of the Colorado National Monument.

Enjoy peace and quiet while picking a peach in the orchard or grapes in the vineyard. We are conveniently located 2 miles from downtown Palisade and 13 miles from downtown Grand Junction. From skiing, to mountain biking, to rafting, to hiking, and road biking there are outdoor activities nearby for all levels.

This convenient location does mean you will hear the TRAIN. However, 99+% of our guests don't even mention it (see our reviews)! The house sits on the same property as our strength and conditioning gym.
