River Valley Loft

Drive up the gravel lane way and escape to this loft. Hidden, one storey up above our storage garage. It’s just a two minute drive from the village of Bear River, or a five minute hike if you’re up to the steep hill. Sip cocktails or your morning Java on the ground floor deck. Early mornings as well as just before sundown can bring sightings of white tailed deer, pheasants and the humming birds are plenty. This retreat space is a fully and tastefully appointed modern oasis in a country setting.

Only 6 mins from historical Annapolis Royal. Last minute/same day bookings always welcome. Once used for horse carriages, I converted this into a private, self-contained tiny house/guest suite. (It has a kitchenette; however it is not suitable for large scale, full course cooking.) Spectacular views of North mountain, nestled in the famed fertile Annapolis Valley. Peach tree growing region. Railway turned nature trail practically across the street, beyond ballpark, perfect for cycling into town.

Situated in an 1885 heritage house in beautiful Annapolis Royal Nova Scotia, our loft is a lovely and comfortable space. Guests can walk and enjoy Annapolis Royal easily. If you can be here for Satuday mornings... the Annapolis Farmer's Market is a wonder. A short drive will take you to Digby for Scallops or go a little further South to see the character and beauty of the Acadian Shore. This cozy cottage nestled in quiet Granville Beach is close enough to all amenities of Annapolis Royal, but tucked away into a serene property surrounded by greenery with a view of the river. Take the walking trail, found at the back of the property, leading to unique cottages along the water or take the direct 5 minute path to a secluded beach. Dragonfly cottage

Dragonfly cottage is located on the North Mountain in Annapolis County Nova Scotia. A cozy year round, timber framed cottage with both wood and gas stoves. The living room includes a double size pull out, with another queen bed in the loft upstairs. Bath features a large shower and compost toilet. Located at the homestead community of Snow Lake Keep, it has access to our lake, hiking trails, a sauna with plunge pool. We run an operating homestead with many gardens, chickens and goats.

A stroll across the road, and you'll find yourself on the sandy shores of the beach, minutes away from the charming town of Digby, and conveniently located close to whale-watching adventures. You'll love the Cove -with ocean views, irresistibly comfortable beds, and an inviting outdoor space that boasts relaxation. Notes: - Outdoor furniture/BBQ is stored and unavailable November–April each year. - We are also pet friendly and the adjoining duplex does have a dog, her name is Emma :)

Acres of land, a sandy beach hidden behind a well-groomed property sprinkled with beautiful tall trees disappearing into the Acadian forest. Includes: private hot tub and firepit, shared sauna, cold plunge, lake access, public wood fired hot tub (great for groups when booking one than more cabin) canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, pedal boat, sandy beach, floating mat and more.

The Owl's Nest Wilderness Cottage

Come experience farm life for yourself and stay at The Owl’s Nest Wilderness Cottage – our private, off grid retreat that boasts open pastures, wildlife and a warm Nova Scotia welcome! Tucked between Bear River, Annapolis Royal, and Kejimkujik National Park, Owl King Orchard is a 70 acre farm dotted with highland cattle, sheep, goats and winding forest trails. If you’re coming to unwind or to explore the local area, there is plenty of fun to be had all year ‘round.

Bright, breezy, and peaceful, The Rising Tide is perfect for couples or solo travelers. Located beside The Wheelhouse Restaurant, the area is lively from 12 PM–8 PM but quiet afterward, ideal for relaxing with morning coffee on your private deck watching the tides roll in or out. Inside, enjoy a kitchenette, private bath, and easy access to the Digby County Trail and downtown shops. Local scallops are steps away.
