We were in town visiting my son who goes to school in Boston. The views were gorgeous and the area is great for long walks. The space was exactly as described with all the amenities. Would love to come back when it’s warmer and enjoy the lake.

A beautiful home and the views were breathtaking on the lake. Although, it was frozen. All the amenities we needed and more. Close to skiing and tubing. Owner Sara was very attentive to respond quickly. We just wanted a getaway place for a family weekend. The road was narrow and very icy. Would go back but not in the winter. Summer and the Fall I think would be best. Lots more things to do in the nicer weather months. Thank you Sara for your hospitality.

An absolute gem. Peaceful, comfortable, and cozy with close proximity to great restaurants, walks, and coffee. Absolutely enjoyed bringing my family here. We all can't wait to come back.

Vincent's lakefront Catskills home exceeded all our expectations! The house is perfectly designed for group gatherings, with multiple comfortable living spaces that allowed our friends to either come together or find quiet moments. We had private chefs come for a couple of dinners and they had everything they needed to create memorable meals. The lake views are absolutely stunning. What truly set this experience apart was Vincent's exceptional hospitality - he was incredibly responsive and accommodating when we experienced travel issues, going above and beyond what was required. This thoughtfully designed lake house with its beautiful surroundings and attentive host made for the perfect meeting spot for our friend group. We'd gladly return!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Elle’s house. The bedrooms and living spaces were thoughtfully laid out and decorated beautifully. A short drive to lots of little cafés and hiking trails. We appreciated the quiet solitude of this little getaway in the Berkshires, and the ping pong table too. We didn’t get to use the lake (snow in April!) but hope to return to try again!

Katherine’s Creekside Cottage was a perfect peaceful getaway and I wish we could have stayed longer ! Felt at home the minute we walked through the door .. living room with electric fireplace, beautiful newly renovated kitchen with everything you need, sparkling clean bathrooms with lovely towels and the prettiest bedrooms. There are so many special touches everywhere . The weather wasn’t perfect, but we still spent hours just relaxing on the screened in porch, You won’t want to leave it! Took advantage of Katherine’s recommendations for dinner (she has quite a nice list but we choose Lucy’s Kitchen in Saugerties … just great!) and spent the day in nearby Woodstock, amazing little town. We had no issues whatsoever and almost any question you have can be addressed in the Home Manual she has available. Even so, she was super quick to answer a question I had and definitely wanted to make sure we were comfortable . Don’t hesitate to book this little gem!

Anne Marie's place was exactly what we were looking for! It is extremely well stocked, with everything you might need, from kitchen appliances, extra blankets, many towels, etc. The surroundings were gorgeous and the area is very quiet and peaceful. Anne Marie was friendly and very responsive, answering questions quickly and flexibly. We can't wait to come back!

This was our second time to stay. It had a gorgeous view surrounded by beautiful trees. It was so peaceful and relaxing with everything we needed. James is so easy to work with and very responsive. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay! Communication with the owners was incredibly easy. Mark was responsive, helpful, and made everything seamless from start to finish. The home is private and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. The setup was beautiful and intuitive, making it easy to settle in right away. Inside and out, the place is just as stunning as the photos—immaculately maintained and thoughtfully decorated. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The hosts thought of everything and made us feel right at home. We could not have been more pleased and would highly recommend this property.

If you are looking for simplicity (which we were) this is the perfect place to. I’ve always wanted to stay at a lake house. We couldn’t have asked for more. Serene, tranquil, beautiful are the proper descriptions of the house and the area. We came to Connecticut to visit my daughter and family and they ended up coming to our place instead. Jason was extremely helpful when needed. We would definitely stay there again!

This was our 2nd time at Arthur’s house. It is spotless and comfortable and the lake and the area is beautiful. The house has everything you could possibly need. The furniture and the beds are comfortable and Arthur is the perfect host, always responsive and an excellent communicator! The home is just as described and pictured. We will be back!

The cottage is a beautiful retreat on Cedar Lake, perfect for a little getaway! The place itself is cozy but with plenty of space for what we needed, and a gorgeous deck right on the water. Couldn’t get enough of the outdoor space! Quiet neighborhood and incredibly close to the restaurants and shops of Sturbridge. Amazing stay!

Loved Ali’s cabin ! Small and cozy, has all you need. Ali was super responsive and clear. Would love to stay again.

I visited this beautiful place for valentines weekend and it was absolutely amazing, nice and clean kitchen equipped with all you need if you want to cook and the rooms were nice and cozy. Also this is a lake house so you have a beautiful view and you can enjoy outside too. We had a great time. I would only suggest to get the drive way clean from the ice/snow during winter time it was a little bit dangerous walking to our cars.

Perfect weekend get away for quiet, quality time in nature! The place was clean. The screened in porch by the lake with the hammocks, swinging day bed, and canoe was our favorite part. Drove about 35/40 min for a great hike.

Tobye’s place was the perfect location for our Thanksgiving trip. Had all the amenities as listed and is a very responsive host. Was flexible to add a day as well and we so appreciated that! Kids loved the Xbox and we loved the coffee and peaceful view.

This was our 2nd time staying at Brian's place, the home is perfect for a larger group and has so many toys for the kids, they LOVED it! Everything is very clean, and the kitchen has all the pots/pans needed for cooking. In Feb there was so much snow we got to go sledding in the front yard, and a few from our group made the trip to Stratton for the day. We love going to Wilmington for coffee/lunch. Planning to be back again in 2026!

This place was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway. On the chilly fall weekend the wood stove and sauna were much enjoyed. We hope to return!

I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday with my family, and then I chose this cabin, it was simply much more than I imagined, we got there everything was clean, we had all the necessary support, they responded quickly, and all the necessary information was provided, everything exactly as promised in the ad, the river is beautiful, on the porch of the house we heard the sound of the river, the birds, it is incredible and a true paradise, there is space for children to play, for those looking for a relaxing environment and love nature this is the place, I had the best birthday of my life it was incredible 🤩 oh get ready to eat the best eggs in the USA 🇺🇸 gratitude for everything it was incredible we already want to go back. Samuel and Catherine are great 😊

A charming cabin perfect for a weekend away. Our group opted mostly to stay in instead of explore local areas and it was the perfect size with just enough to do! The small explorations we did have for local coffee and produce were wonderful. A couple issues with some household appliances but the host was responsive and considerate to resolve them. Loved the doc, kayaks, and hot tub as well as smaller objects to use for entertainment, such as a guitar, fireplace, and games. Hope to come back next year!

This is the perfect cabin retreat. Beautiful property with incredible back porch views, stunning fireplace, creekside access, and gobbling turkeys in the distance. It was just what I was looking for to celebrate a birthday with friends. Secluded enough to feel private but close enough to a charming town for drinks and coffee. Jim was also super communicative and made it easy to settle in—he even gave me a heads up about the weather that weekend to make sure we were packed appropriately. I was considering a couple of places, and I’m so happy I chose this one. Highly recommend a visit. P.S. The heated floors are a really nice touch.

We found it easy to relax in this rustic cabin, stocked as it was with comfortable couches and firm but cozy foam-topped beds. Skylights in the cathedral living room greatly expand access to daylight and arboreal view. The main living space is also flexible enough, with a dining table and TV watching area, to make it the part of the house where we spent most our time. Plank steps to loft-style bedrooms should be taken deliberately, but motion-sensing lights in stairwell and living area made the longish walk from those bedrooms to the main bathroom (behind the kitchen) manageable. The kitchen had everything we needed for our cooking and preparation, but limited counterspace made this a one-person job. Also, kitchen noises and smells travel quickly to the bedroom directly above, so that bedroom should be assigned to the designated chef. Access to the lake and small fleet of kayaks was easy and inviting. Surroundings were beautifully spacious, green, and quiet. We would come back.
