The Old Reading Room West Stafford

The Victorian Reading Room of West Stafford is of historical importance. Used before the war as a Reading Room for the villagers and estate workers, the newspapers were provided, the village shop in the late 1930s, then a workshop and a store room for the church. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The huts are set in their own private garden with gravelled outdoor dining area and Hot Tub. Inside you benefit from one hut being the living space, a 2nd hut as a full bathroom which are connected by a galley kitchen.

This dog friendly converted church is typically available April to October each year. It is set in its own grounds and consists of 2 large reception areas, 3 large double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
