I had an amazing experience staying at this house. The property was exactly as described it was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic because I was looking for a place to unwind. They were incredibly responsive and welcoming, providing great tips for local restaurants and activities. The check-in process was seamless, and I felt right at home throughout my stay. I especially loved the firepit outside. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had a wonderful stay at April’s Airbnb! My husband, two sisters, brother-in-law, and I stayed here, and it was perfect size for our group. My sister also brought her dog, who absolutely loved the big backyard! The home was very comfortable and cozy, making it the perfect place to relax after our daily adventures. The location was great—just a short drive to Shepherdstown, Charles Town, Antietam, and Harpers Ferry, with Gettysburg only about an hour away. It was the ideal spot for exploring the area! April was a fantastic host—very responsive, checking in to make sure everything was going well, and offering great recommendations for nearby restaurants. We also really appreciated all the little thoughtful touches, like extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair care items, and TV's in all the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again!

We instantly felt right at home at Bird Land for our girls trip! Eric was super accommodating and attentive. The house is very comfortable with a lot of historic charm. The sunny window bed and bird watching area are so beautiful and peaceful. Gorgeous stained glass windows. There is so much room to spread out! The basement bedroom(s) would be great for kids to have their own space. We had a great time and would love to come back.

Highly recommended. This is a beautiful, historic house in a great neighborhood. My stepkids enjoyed exploring all the different areas, like the loft/attic, and playing in the yard and basement. I liked that the neighborhood is walkable, and enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch. Everything was comfortable, from the beds to the towels. We stayed during a heat wave, and while there is no central a/c (not surprising, because this is an old house), the multiple window units upstairs kept the bedrooms and living areas downstairs cool. Cory was a welcoming host, providing things like bottled water and all the stuff you might possibly need in the kitchen. I had easy communication with him, and he allowed us to check in early. The whole stay was excellent, from beginning to end. This feels like a house that is really cared for. I’d definitely stay here again, and cannot recommend it enough! Thank you so much for the great trip.

This gateway more than accommodated 4 adults and 5 kids from 2-9 years of age. We brought a few entertainment items for the kids so the adults could detach from the buzz of the world and slow everything down. Orions provided that and more, from the wonderful Berkeley Springs, to the big state park and amazing views; we can't wait to come back. This property was well stocked, and we had to worry very little about the small stuff. Thank you, Anna, for being a great host and letting us stay here; you are awesome!

Heather was fantastic! We had lost power due to storms and desperately needed a place to stay with our two dogs. It was a very last minute booking and she was super accommodating. She responded super fast to my messages. The place was super peaceful and clean. Would definitely book with her again!

Great, comfortable stopover on our way from WVA to Wake Forest, via D.C. We even found Maryland blue crabs at a nearby restaurant. The hot tub was nice on a cool night. Would come back if ever in the area.

Ken was an excellent host. This was a great place for our family of four and two dogs. Everyone enjoyed it! We loved the fire pit and the porch with the rocking chairs.

The lower level private entrance apartment was very nice with all new furnishings, comfortable bed and sofa, smart TV, plenty of books and games. The kitchen was well appointed with high end small appliances ( microwave oven, toaster oven, single pan cooktop, Ninja coffee maker and an under the counter with complimentary goodies ( sweet muffins English Muffins, butter, cream cheese, Starbucks ground coffee and orange juice) and some small bag snacks (popcorn and chips). The bathroom was very nice with plenty of towels and complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Judy was a very gracious and friendly host with quick responses to any questions or sought after recommendations. She gave us 4 wineries to try and we loved all 4 of them. You can’t go wrong with this Airbnb.

Cindy's place was AMAZING! She truly thought of everything. The location was beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated with sweet little nooks to relax and enjoy the scenery. There was even a dog shower in the garage for the dogs when we got back from a muddy hike. I will definitely return!

The place was charming, well stocked and very comfortable. The communication was great and we would definitely rent again.

A friend & I stayed to cycle & hike Harper's Ferry & the Shepardstown area of the C&O. The placed checked all our important boxes..very clean, nice shower with hot water, very comfortable beds & furniture, very quiet, strong wifi. Download Google maps directions to get there as you might loose your cell connection. Same if you travel the area..download while on wifi at the house. When I saw the vintage GE electric stove with push button controls I though...wow will this thing work! Yes it works great! It heated up my hot water for tea & oatmeal faster than any modern stove! We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

We were in town for a funeral so we didn’t require much. This place was perfect for our needs. It’s a cute space . The bed was super comfortable and the apartment was very clean. It is a small space. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you are getting so there are no surprises. For the most part it was fairly quiet considering it is in the city of Winchester. There are limited outlets so if you have multiple things you need to charge plan accordingly. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay here again.

I really appreciated this space. It was private and spacious. I loved the koi pond and truly felt right at home. I had everything I needed and if I didn’t the host was gracious enough to supply extra trash bags, dish soap etc. This apt was exactly what I needed for my three week stay.

My girlfriend and I had our anniversary here and we were delighted to stay at this Airbnb. The accomodations were wonderful and so was the hospitality. If your looking for a place to stay thats near beautiful Harper's Ferry I couldn't recommend this place enough.
