Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Relax in front of the woodburning stove after a days exploring, watch the sun set over Penrhyn Castle, take a walk down to the beach, or enjoy a drink at the The Slate Tavern and a walk home across the fields. The house can sleep up to 6 guests , with two double bedrooms and a single with bunkbeds . There are two spacious private gardens either side with views of Snowdon/ Wyddfa and neighbouring mountains. The patio garden has a large outdoor seating area . The house also has private parking for two vehicles and fast fibre optic broad band.

It's n the Braichmelyn area of Bethesda and you can walk down our road straight into Snowdonia National Park. It's been modernised and extended but retains original features and charm. It's in a perfect location for exploring this wonderful region: Zipworld is moments away, Anglesey is 30 mins away and Snowdon 20 mins away. Sorry but no dogs!

My place is within easy access of Snowdon, Zip world, A55, Anglesey. You’ll love my place because its a traditional grade 2 listed welsh cottage fully refurbished and set in a small hamlet within the countryside. My place is good for couples, walkers, solo adventurers, business travellers and small families. PLEASE NOTE: This is a small village located a couple of miles from the main A55 road there are no shops in the village itself. Tesco is a 5 min drive away

A converted quarryman's cottage from around 1870, situated in upper Rachub, in the foothills of Snowdonia: Bank's Cottage has stunning views from the main accommodation, taking in most of Anglesey from a viewpoint over 700 feet above sea-level. We're a two-minute drive from Zip World and walks and climbing in the glorious Carneddau are literally out back of the property: the Snowdonia National Park begins fifty metres the other side of our garden wall.
