This rustic 2-story cottage, dating back over 100 years, has whitewashed stone walls and a wood-burning stove. This is an old farm hand house and it shares the same property with the main house. Gashes Fluss Haus is a 117 year old coach house. The first floor is made of stone. Please park along side the house, under the flower box. If there's anything you need, please message me. Surrounded by nature, the home is a short drive to downtown, West Asheville, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Getting downtown is a 7 minute drive. Uber is around 9 dollars. The cottage is on the same property as the hosts house.

The Cottage is perfectly located! Only 3.8mi center of Asheville, 2.5mi to the Blue Ridge Pkwy, 4mi to Biltmore Estate, and 5mi to the River Arts District! Escape it all or go to town for dinner, before retreating back home to your oasis! I have kept a simple clutter-free layout to promote comfort and coziness, with a touch of local art, filled with natural light and the sounds of local birds. The cottage is for anyone seeking privacy, nature, and easy access to all that Asheville has to offer!

Centrally located in the walkable, wooded Kenilworth neighborhood, enjoy the serenity of a comfortable home base just minutes from AVL’s top attractions. Close to Biltmore Estate and Village, Downtown, River Arts and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The space is a clean, well-appointed 800 sq. ft. apartment with spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, laundry, and separate entrance on the ground level of our home. This space was designed with love and care and the hope that all who stay here feel relaxed and connected to nature. We recently added a cedar barrel sauna that heats up quickly and is user friendly. Often we don’t see guests but I’m always available for questions and recommendations. We live "next door" on the same property with our two young sons. The cabin is located in a neighborhood, so while it hopefully feels removed from any hustle and bustle, there is access to many conveniences.

Comes complete with all the amenities needed for a pleasant & convenient stay, including a simple kitchenette, private patio, off street parking & self check in.

Your private suite has: 1) a private bedroom /a queen-sized bed; 2) a private bath /a walk-in-shower; 3) a kitchenette with a Keurig Coffee maker, a microwave, a small sink plus an under-the-counter refrigerator with a separate freezer; 4) a locked private entry into a multi-purpose room that has a loveseat, TV, a drop-leaf table with 2 chairs. The suite has a new independent "HVAC air & vent system", totally separate from our HVAC system, so our Guests have complete temperature control.
