Carr Cottage is a characterful 19th century mill workers' dwelling situated in the heart of the Pennines in the beautiful Luddenden Valley with a multitude of walks and footpaths. Close to Halifax and its historic Piece Hall or Hebden Bridge with its vibrant arts and crafts scene. We are dog friendly with excellent walks for dogs and their people. Dogs must not be left unattended on the during your stay. Carr Cottage is cycle friendly with classic road or off road routes right rom the doorstep.

Stroll along the numerous footpaths close to the cottage including the walk to the Captain Tom Moore Memorial Woodland or you're only a short drive from Brontë & Wuthering Heights country; where you can enjoy a train ride along the heritage Worth Valley Railway and explore Haworth’s cobbled streets, abundance of eateries and central park. After your day exploring, come home and relax in the Mediterranean Garden or enjoy a short stroll to the local pub, offering locally sourced food and beer!

It offers a tranquil base to enjoy the many attractions this beautiful and vibrant area has to offer. It has a spacious king size bedroom and a bedroom with twin beds. The first floor bathroom/wc has an electric shower over the bath. There is a comfortable living room with WiFi, TV and DVD player and views to the river and park. Centrally located, yet peacefully quiet, just 2 mins walk from the top of the cobbled Main Street with its quirky independent shops, galleries, cafes and pubs. Walk 4 mins to the Bronte Parsonage Museum and 10 mins to ride the steam trains from Haworth station. A few mins walk in the opposite direction takes you to the majestic moors immortalised by Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights

Saltaire - a Victorian "model village" and UNESCO World Heritage Site - is located in the Aire Valley, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and with direct rail links to Leeds, Bradford and Skipton.

Countryside Farm Stay - Private Annexe

Situated on the edge of Baildon Moor, this modern private annexe is located on the ground floor of the original farmhouse and boasts fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. The property is a short walk from Baildon village where there are pubs, shops, restaurants & takeaways. Leeds City Centre can be reached via train (17 minutes from Shipley train station). On the farm we have horses, cows, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs & cats, therefore some farm noises are to be expected!

The space which we’ve named ‘The Nook’ has a newly renovated living space, which is warm, contemporary and light with everything you need for a cosy stay. You have exclusive access to the garden, which means relaxing in the hot tub after a long day sight seeing, shopping or hitting the pubs.

Lovely walks directly to the top of the moor, or to the tarn (great for bird watching).

We have lovingly refurbished Woodlands View to create a stylish space which we welcome you to enjoy: We are located in the centre of Hebden Bridge. Located a 2 minute walk to Hebden Bridge Train Station. Two car parks within a couple of minute walk from the property free overnight between 8pm- 8am. There is also free on street parking a couple of minute walk from the property on Burnley road, the same road as the property.

Welcome to our house situated in the world heritage village Saltaire. One of the original Almhouses built by Sir Titus Salt in the 19th Century. The house is part of the utopian vision of Saltaire created by Sir Titus to create a community village to house and support the mill workers. The property offers a unique base to experience Saltaire, within walking distance of the all the key local attractions.

Logs for the fire are available on request at cost.
