Great location for access to tons of hiking, flyfishing and other outdoor activities in the beautiful Bitterroot valley. Large shower with dual shower heads, stainless appliances and plenty of room to cook, two large decks for outdoor lounging and grilling. Note: the last mile or so is a primitive road. Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

Lots of light and large windows to see the scenery. Only 20 miles to Missoula and Hamilton, Montana. (We love dogs, but please do not just bring your pet -- inquire first please.)

The Arizona Room

Fall has arrived, and we welcome you to our home in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. This home design is a blend of the Bitterroot Valley and the Desert Southwest, with its timber-framed elements and courtyard. It is set just 3 miles north and east of historic Stevensville, and your room has a commanding view of the beautiful Bitterroot mountains. The home is set on 2.8 fenced acres with a coded gate entry. Our golden retriever, Rudy most likely will be your first greeter.

In the heart of the beautiful Bitterroot Valley. The views are spectacular. You're near everything that screams Montana; hiking, fishing, wildlife viewing, hunting, wilderness, horseback riding, rodeos, quaint shops, restaurants, and historical places! Our guesthouse is on the same property as our home with 8 acres of natural landscape. You have privacy with your own parking area. Come stay for a day, two or more. Independent ground floor guest suite of Log Home. Private estate surrounded by old growth Ponderosa pine forest. Two spacious bedrooms, a large bathroom, living room, and full custom walnut kitchen with all new stainless appliances and a laundry room. Very peaceful, secure and quiet. The road is a Montana style dirt road. When there is NO snow any car will make it up the hill. In Winter you will need a four wheel vehicle. We snowplow the road as necessary in winter. We are Pet friendly.
