Our Cabin in the Trees

Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

A Suite Above

"A Suite Above" is a gateway to adventure suitable for all seasons. You can enjoy a view of Shuswap Lake on your private deck with the natural gas barbecue - you’ll never run out of gas! The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, coffee maker, kettle and other amenities that will allow you to have a meal on the deck or at the dining table in the suite. The suite is air conditioned and the living area has a cozy natural gas fireplace for those cooler days and nights.

Near many parks, waterfalls and one of the most beautiful lakes to explore! Truly home away from home! Your own private studio cabin nestled amongst the surrounding trees in the quiet neighbourhood of White Lake. Rustic wood interior finish with large open windows that allow you to feel like your waking up in nature. Lay in bed and look out at the tree tops only feet away with a peak-a-boo view of the pristine nearby White Lake. Outdoor cedar sauna just steps away from your accommodations. Property is private and backs onto crown land. Access hiking, mountain biking and quad trails directly from property. Two minutes from White Lake. Ten minutes from Shuswap Lake.
