The "Hut" is less than one mile from the red light in downtown Banner Elk. Only a fifteen minute walk or less than two minute drive will put you in the heart of this quaint little town. Less than half a mile to the local brewery and only a ten minute walk to the town park. The owners are on premises and very attentive to the needs of their guests. Those interested in hosting parties should look for other accommodations. Strict no pet policy. The space will only accommodate two guests.

Welcome to our home!!! We are a half-mile from great skiing at Beech Mountain Resort which also has snow tubing, snowboarding, downhill and cross country skiing, and ice skating. And that's just winter activities!!! In the summer there are countless hiking trails, fishing, nearby tourist attractions and almost any activity you can think of! A fire pit has been finished and there is kindling and wood available at no cost. There is a separate freezer in the storage room that guests may use.

The current pricing is for the almost 800 sq/ft. apartment only. Most of our quest can not believe how big it is. They always say it is bigger than the pictures show it to be. There is a full kitchen with everything needed for cooking and full size washer and dryer. Also a queen bed, and a twin sofa sleeper in the bedroom, and a a queen sofa sleeper in the living room/kitchen area. A level and paved parking area. Nestle in this guest suite apartment located in the small town of Elk Park. Enjoy sightseeing, hiking, skiing, antique shops & more! Our nest is small so we have a 2 pet limit and they must be pre-approved. There is a $30 pet fee so select “traveling with pets” when booking. The pet fee must be paid at booking to avoid a $150 service fee. No smoking, no partying, no events (see house rules). Parking for one vehicle only, parallel at the entrance gate.

Our garage apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to King St (our main street.) The space is cozy and well appointed - perfect for a couple or small family. The deck is a lovely place to enjoy the beautiful mountain weather. There is a queen sized bed. There is queen pill out futon as well as a futon in the closet to make the kids space cozy and comfortable.
