The Dairy at Bortons Farm is a self-contained annexe attached to the rear of the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive from Southwold, it offers a peaceful rural location but near to the beautiful beaches of Southwold and the busy market town of Beccles. Harrow Cottage has been converted from a Suffolk cart lodge to create a pretty holiday cottage tucked away in the stunning Suffolk countryside. Carefully restored to preserve the original character of the former cart lodge, Harrow is a semi-detached cottage with lots of natural light, stylish furnishings, cosy living area with a wood-burning stove. We have developed a Prairie garden in part of our garden and guests are welcome to walk through the Prairie which is at its best from May.

Daisy Cottage … discover Suffolk

Spend a little time savouring the delights of Suffolk in this little gem of a cottage so close to the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Come back to the wood burner in the autumn and winter and a lovely meal cooked for you at the Queens Head just 10 minutes walk away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

The Old Lamp Room. Self contained annexe

The Old Lamp Room used to store the lamps for the lighthouse until it became automatic. It is now an annexe to the old Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage, which is our family home. Guests have their own front door and are free to use the small front courtyard garden which has a bistro table and chairs. Situated up a small path, behind the lighthouse and moments from the beach. The high street with its shops, restaurants and pubs is a 5 minute stroll away. An ideal cosy bolt hole.

Beautiful open space with widened doorways for wheel chair users we can also provide a ramp and shower chair if requested. There are two village pubs which are within walking distance and a small shop. This is a great base from which you can explore everything Suffolk has to offer. Not to forget we are pet friendly

Take a break and unwind at our peaceful oasis. Primrose Farm Barn is a detached barn in our garden but also quite separate from us, and set in a very quiet location. Southwold is only a 10 minute drive or 30 minute cycle away. Lovely countryside walks and cycling routes direct from the Barn. Bike storage is available. You will need a car to get around!
