Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Thank you for our lovely weekend away

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

Nathan was very friendly and very informative regarding places to eat and local surroundings etc. our stay was great loved the record player and even got back in hottub at 6am to see the sunrise. memorable is all I can say.

We had such a lovely relaxing time at Kingfisher Lodge. Phil & Marshella were perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Enjoyed the hot tub so enjoyable especially at night with the lights. My husband enjoyed the fishing, caught a carp weighing get around 28llbs i think, he was so chuffed. would definitely recommend and would stay again Thank you again Julie & Sean

We had a wonderful stay at Pine Lodge. The place was so peaceful and is nestled in gorgeous scenery, with amazing views from the living room window and verandah. The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice! It’s a cosy and characterful home - we came in the spring which can be cool and wet, but we were nice and warm indoors here. There are some beautiful walks right on the doorstep and we really enjoyed exploring the landscape. This would be the perfect place to take yourself off to if you wanted to sit and write uninterrupted with inspiring views and nature all around! Clare is a friendly and helpful host and we received a warm welcome, with a cream tea waiting for us on arrival. We don’t drive but had no problem getting a taxi from the station at Newton Abbot at the start and end of our stay.

WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

Lovely place with plenty of space and dog friendly. The hot tub was a great attribute, we all loved it. Finlake is great place, my daughter loves the pool and plenty to do in surrounding areas. Gina is a great host, very quick to respond and very helpful. Highly recommended and we will look to return in the future.

lovely people, beautiful setting and enjoyed the local walks from the door. safe space for my dog in the enclosed garden. plenty of logs supplied for the woodburner. A very relaxing place to stay. would recommend to others.

Me, my wife and our little dog have had the most relaxing of breaks at Birch lodge. in addition we have not felt as comfortable as we did at a rental accommodation in many a year. Peace, space, time and comfort... what more could we ask for. 10/10!

Such an idyllic stay, with peaceful surroundings. Judith and James were so friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and friendly advice. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway!

Beautiful and peaceful 3 night stay with our two young children (5 and 11) and mini schnauzer who I think lived her BEST life! Kitchen a bit limited for cooking with two hobs and a microwave…that said it was BBQs or eating out every night for us. Lots of wood supplied and the small log burner a great addition for the evenings when it got a bit cold! The alfresco bathing was a great hit with the kids (and grown ups!). The bunk room is tiny so just something to be aware of but I could see that in the pics. Just meant kids were getting dressed in the double bedroom but not a problem! Gorgeous location in peaceful Devonshire countryside. Loved Pizza at the Folly @The Pig. Easily accessible for Sidmouth beach, Exmouth. Canonteign Falls was well worth the visit. Supermarkets in very easy reach! Would recommend and definitely book again! Thank you William.

We loved our stay at the Nest - the location is so beautiful & peaceful and the Nest was just as described. Felicity was very helpful, proactive and responsive welcoming us for check in, sharing local recommendations. We spent Easter there with our 3yo and Felicity left children’s books, toys for the bath & Easter chocolates which she loved! Looking forward to coming back!

This property was absolutely beautiful, everything about it was so picturesque, it was quiet, peaceful and tranquil. It was so private and the hot tub was perfect. Simplicity at its finest and we absolutely did not want to leave the following morning. Ellen was so quick to respond and added some birthday bunting knowing my wife was celebrating her birthday which was a beautiful touch. We loved it here and will be back very soon.

Not luxury but perfect for an overnight stop and everything was exactly as described hence worth the five stars. Delighted to meet the cat.

An excellent place to stay. Great location with loads of space for the dog to run round. A well kitted out place with everything you need!!

We all absolutely loved the Alpaca retreat. Cozy cabins, lovely hosts and perfect surroundings. Wonderful place to unwind and get back to nature. The kids loved the Alpacas, chickens, ducks and pigs. We enjoyed the cabins decked area which had sun all day from breakfast to sunset and the evenings under the stars with a bbq or fire pit.

Stephen & Chris were perfect hosts, very friendly & not at all intrusive, quick responses to all communication. Forget Me Not Cabin is a wonderful, cosy location, it is really well equipped & the icing on the cake is the outside seating area set within its own private, little garden (we were lucky enough to enjoy some April sunshine)! Would highly recommend & will be back!

If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, peaceful and private, this is it. Gorgeous views and a real reset from every day life. We stayed with our 3 & 5 year old and 9 month old, who loved it of course. Alice very responsive throughout.
