Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

Great place to travel between cities and visit Smoky Mountains. Nice, quiet area and the trails on the property were great. Rita's place had everything you need for a home away from home. It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

We had a great overall experience, we always love the waynesville area. The home was clean, organized, and exactly as described. Host was very thorough with instructions and very easy to Interact with. 10/10 would stay again!

My family of four really enjoyed staying at Todd's. There was plenty of space inside and nature surrounding the house, and it was close enough to the things we wanted to explore in Highlands as well as Cashiers.

This home is stunning and exactly as shown in the photos. It’s very spacious and clean, equipped with all necessary toiletries, kitchen essentials, and an ample supply of towels. There’s also a great selection of board games. I highly recommend staying here!

Don and Renie are top notch hosts! They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect-snacks, drinks, comfortable mattresses, ample towels, games, and even a frozen pizza in the fridge! Their mountaintop rental has a beautiful view of WCU campus with comfortable outdoor spaces for soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Don has excellent local recommendations and is a great source of information regarding Western Carolina University. We felt so incredibly welcome! We’ll be back!

This is a great spot for a family of four. The beds were comfortable. The space was big enough to spread out a little bit. The view from the deck is great as well. If you don't mind being 30 minutes away, this is a great place to stay while visiting Asheville. It's about an hour from Looking Glass Falls too. It's also a beautiful drive to the Tail of the Dragon from here. If you're coming from Raleigh this makes for a much shorter drive home after spending a day driving near the Dragon.

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

Great place would do it again! Only negative we are a sports family and the local channel line up didn’t have sports on March madness weekend . Other than that no complaint at all!

Evelyn went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at a home away from home! She was flexible as we were arriving late, and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well! Every recommendation she gave was great! We love to explore the small local towns, and this was just great! We can’t wait to come back and visit again in a few months! This will be our forever mountain escape ❤️ bonus: my son loved all of the goodies Evelyn gave him & my husband got stuck in the mud, and they came out with their tractor to get us out!! A million percent recommend and can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I honeymooned here . The place was beautiful, spacious and clean . With a view that was TO DIE FOR. The last night we met Jose , we talked with him for a bit . Very very nice guy ! Between the views , the place in general and Jose’s hospitality we will definitely be back if ever in Maggie vally!! 100000 out of 10 all around amazing !!!

Great stay great host beautiful location.

Loved our love stay here as it felt like you a living in Appalachian safari because lots of deer, mink, peacocks, rabbits, eagles and more visited the property regularly. The river and surroundings offer the feeling or remote tranquility but the super fast skyline internet and town 5 minute drive away mean you are still close to civilization.

The property is gorgeous—perched in the mountains with a stunning view and the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. It felt like we were alone on the edge of the world in the most peaceful, private, and serene setting. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Julie had curated every detail with love and intention. The atmosphere was designed to promote relaxation and connection with nature—something we felt in every corner of the space. We also opted for the romance package and it was beyond worth it. Candles lined the path to the outdoor tub, and we were greeted with champagne, wine, and a fresh fruit board. It was elegant, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. Julie has thought of everything. This is a place we plan to return to at least once a year for as long as we live in North Carolina. It’s more than just a stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.

Such a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Waves of nostalgia in every nook and cranny of this house. Our family thoroughly enjoyed admiring the pictures, decorations, books and furniture! Preparing meals in the kitchen was an absolute treat. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped kitchen. The serving platters, cooking utensils, cookware and glassware were enjoyed by all! The home was clean and so peaceful. The fireplace was just icing on the cake! Everyone enjoyed our family trip and we hope to return!
