This lovely apartment, located on the second floor of the cottage behind the main house, is a perfect romantic hideaway, girlfriend getaway and family-friendly escape. Hardwood floors highlight this recently remodeled one-bedroom suite with a living room, gas "wood-burning" stove, small kitchenette complete with granite countertops, hammered nickel sink, microwave drawer, refrigerator, and a Carrera marble dining table for four where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Through the pocket doors you will find a queen size iron bed with a chaise lounge and large armoire. The en-suite bathroom provides guests with a large Jacuzzi tub that also can be used as a shower. Guests will have access to the 2 room apartment, a private parking spot and the delicious inn porches! Enjoy the convenience of the Chestnut Hill Historical District of Asheville. Stroll a quick 10 minutes to downtown for restaurants, cafes, shops and everything else this quaint town offers. We have a complimentary parking spot and are an ideal location to take advantage of walking or using an Uber or Lyft to get around town. Especially during our busy weekends, Asheville parking can be challenging which is what makes this the ideal spot to park your car... and leave it. There are several restaurants and cafes that are within a 5-minute walk as well. We love Liberty House for amazing breakfast and lunch and great coffee drinks, Elements for organic fresh juice and salads, Plant for exquisite vegan fare, City Bakery for a casual lunch and delicious baked goods to name a few.

The bedroom has quality sheets, darkening shades and a sound machine to help you sleep. Outside you have your own private entrance and patio for enjoying a morning of bird watching. We do live up on a hill but there is room to turn around.
