Acerca de 4 km para Norte, a partir da cidade da Horta, fica a Praia do Almoxarife. No espaço " a moagem" há vida em cada recanto, no jardim existe uma cisterna d' água e uma eira. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. Just a couple of minutes driving from Madalena village, this traditional and remodeled wine house has its own vineyard on the backyard. You will find this holiday home at Porto Calhau - only a 10 minutes drive from Madalena. There is one big bedroom for 5 people ( 1 double bed, and a bunk bed for 3 people), one living room with a kitchenette, bathroom with a shower and a toilette. It also has a terrace where you can enjoy beautiful sunset.
