With beautiful local walks and 20 minutes from Loch Lomond and an hour from Glen Coe and Glasgow, the location is perfect for all kinds of holidays. Five minutes down the hill, Garelochhead village lies on the famous, scenic West Highland Train Line.

Having travelled extensively in a previous life and taken great pleasure in meeting people from all walks, I have specifically tried to make this wee cabin as comfortable as possible with the things that matter the most when you are travelling, a fabulous shower, an ultra comfortable bed and a lovely big TV, all the rest is a bonus and aimed at making your stay as stress free as possible. Tara Cottage

Near the centre of the seaside town of Dunoon and a few minutes walk from the ferry, Tara Cottage is both magical and cosy. This traditional stone cottage has been tastefully renovated. It has a feature stone wall, woodburning stove with oven, mezzanine loft area, hanging chair, corner bath, a generous porch with glass roof to view the stars (or rain!) and a private garden with fruit trees. There's a covered area between the house and shed perfect for hanging washing and bicycle storage.
