We felt right at home at this lovely property. No matter what brings you to this area, you’ll find this place to be the perfect semblance of home and peace. Carol and David were wonderful hosts and were already planning to make the 11.5 hour trip back.

Wonderful house to stay in on a stressful trip. Very comfortable and restful. We have been driving 10 hours a day. So, to stay in a house that had everything we needed, was great. I'm a coffee freak, they had a keurig there similar to mine (which is packed). I didn't bring cream, so I put a package of hot chocolate that they had available, to flavor my coffee. Now I have a new favorite. MOCHA JAVA! The lack of clutter made it easy to clean up after ourselves. They responded quickly to all our inquiries, including a phone call. Just thoroughly impressed!

For us, Geri's place was an experience stay. it is very remote in exceptionally beautiful country. We were in the area to visit a relative and enjoyed our stay. We did have a problem with the door lock in the evening which Geri promptly responded to and corrected. Overall our experience was good. The king size mattress was very comfortable, although it would benefit from some nicer bedding. For example, there was no mattress pad and one of the blankets was an old electric blanket (with no cord provided) which was scratchy/uncomfortable. We encountered a number of crickets and other bugs but this could be in part from the air conditioner units not being sealed around the edges. And it's a farm/rural area, so some bugs would be expected. I think groups of hunters might really enjoy this property. (We loved the remoteness and the cute kitty who hung around the house.) We LOVED this place! Our team comes to Kearney for an annual conference and this place was PERFECT. It's beautiful, comfortable and plenty of space for our team.

This was our second time staying here. It's a great stay for us as it's a quick walk to the brewery that we love to go to when in town. The house is comfortable and clean! We'll be back.

This was the perfect place to stay for 2 couples to arrive for an early morning (6 a.m.) viewing of Sandhill Cranes at Rowe Sanctuary. The place is quiet with two comfortable bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It was more than spotlessly clean - it shone with careful maintenance. The heavily used Union Pacific rail main line is only 2 blocks away, but the whistle sounds were not disturbing and welded rail means that there is no clickety-clack. The sleeping was fine. An altogether wonderful place to stay.

Cool house in a good location. Only thing that would improve it is a washer and dryer.

This place was very spacious for our big family. Everything was labeled and the owners were very intentional in making this feel like a home with everything you may have forgotten. I appreciated the pre-arrival instructions and fair house rules. Well kept and very clean. Highly recommend!
