Darryl and Allyson’s Lakehouse was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends. It’s clean and comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and we even got to enjoy a Lake Huron sunset from the upper deck. Darryl and Allyson are responsive and honest and generally great hosts. We’ll be back!

My sister did a last min booking an hour before we arrived and Jess was super accommodating! everything was lovely and it was exactly what we needed for a little wellness getaway! we even extended our stay another night because we were soo relaxed and happy with the place and location! I highly reccomend staying here.

My husband and I stayed here for a much-needed night away and it was everything we hoped for. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Warm, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we could have needed. We especially loved the hot tub and sauna, which made it feel like a private spa. The scenery is stunning and the river view was the highlight! So peaceful! We left feeling recharged and already can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Rita’s cottage is lovely. We drove 3 hours from Toronto and the lake view did not disappoint. The hot tub was our favourite. Only my boyfriend and I stayed there but the place was big enough for more guests. We didn’t even use the second bedroom or the basement! Highly recommend it!

The cabin was so cute and comfortable, clean and all instructions clearly posted or in a file binder. We had fun touring the area and had great sleeps. We’ll try to get back there again this year!

We loved Jacquie's place, from start to finish we had a great experience. The host was very proactive in providing check in details and was very flexible in terms of our arrival time and departure time, which made our last day much more enjoyable to not have to rush off. The property itself is great, incredibly clean, with a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities you would need for a great weekend away. The outside space is a real high point here, the wrap around deck is great for socializing and has some great views. We ate every meal outside. The hot tub was brand new, really clean and in a great spot to enjoy outside. Overall a superb property, that we would happily stay at again.

I can’t really say enough about our stay at the cottage, such a beautiful, peaceful property, and I can honestly say that after a week I didn’t want to leave, felt right at home. Great location 15 mins from Sooke one way and 15 mins to Shirley/Jordon River the other way. Plenty of places to eat when out and about (recommend Stoked Pizza, Shirley Delight, and Cold Shoulder Cafe). Highly recommend this property if you are staying In Sooke or visiting surrounding areas.

We loved this airbnb. Such a gorgeous location on the water. We spent time sitting on the beach and walking the Esplanade. It was easy to drive to many attractions and restaurants. It has everything you need and a clear manual and labels to help. Spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying at this lovely airbnb.

Great spot out in the country side, peaceful and only a short drive away from the grocery store. May look a little old but everything works well and it was very clean. Wasn't able to enjoy the fireplace due to windy conditions but myself and the family ended up loving sitting outside and enjoying the scenery.

I used the cabin as a fishing headquarters/home base for angling on Lake Winnipeg for 5 weeks.Glenn’s cabin was very good location and I was able to access all waterways within 15-20 mins by snowmobile or truck. The cabin was exactly that-a cabin. This is not an all inclusive resort but rather a nice quiet cabin in the woods. The cabin has everything you could need for a weekend, a week, or a month. It is elderly and rustic but everything works great and Glenn was. Very helpful although I did not require his attentiveness much. Fabulous fishing trip, thanks Glenn. I may be back next winter if time allows.

Such a fantastic place to stay, cabin was clean & lots of room. Tony was always available when needed and very accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay with Tony!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans le chalet de Dan. La communication avec lui a été rapide et agréable — il s’est montré très arrangeant et nous a donné d’excellents conseils. Le chalet est parfaitement équipé : la cuisine contient tout le nécessaire, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié la machine à espresso. La salle de bain est bien aménagée, et les lits sont très confortables. Le salon, lumineux et chaleureux, est un endroit idéal pour lire ou se détendre. Le chalet est impeccable, bien situé, et offre une ambiance paisible. Les enfants ont adoré le pédalo, et nous avons aussi beaucoup profité du feu sur le deck en écoutant de la musique. Une expérience mémorable que nous recommandons vivement ! Merci Dan!

Beautiful stay in this excellent little cabin - a great jumping-off point for adventures. Gosia was very welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with her over breakfast.

Alan & Rosalie’s cottage was everything we could have asked for and more ! It was a perfect place to just relax and recharge after a busy fall and Christmas season. We wanted for nothing, it had everything we needed. Alan met us when we arrived and explained where everything was and how it all worked. My wife and I and our two dogs had a wonderful experience. We will most definitely be doing a return visit. If you are looking for a place to getaway and relax this is the place, highly recommend it ! Thank you Alan & Rosalie !

Lori was a very responsive and accommodative host. The place was much larger than what the pictures shows. Lots to do on the water with kayaks and canoe that were provided.
