Experience the rich history of Old Québec on this immersive walking tour, designed to give you insights into contemporary Québec society through the lens of its past. This tour offers a comprehensive look at Québec’s heritage, helping you get oriented and gain a deeper appreciation of the city.
In every season, you’ll encounter iconic landmarks like the Château Frontenac (from afar), the Seminary, City Hall, the Price building, the Morrin Centre, a romantic gate, and some churches, each contributing to the city’s fascinating past.
From May to October, we’ll begin at the monument to the pioneers and explore the historic streets of Upper Town only, concluding at the Quebec Parliament.
From December to March, the tour begins at the Musée de la Civilisation in Lower Town. We’ll wander through Old Port and the picturesque Petit Champlain (including Place Royale) before heading up to Upper Town, ending near a romantic gate.
In April and November, the itinerary will be chosen based on weather conditions to ensure the best possible experience.
