We had a wonderful stay in Edenton on the sound. The hosts are responsive, welcoming and have done a magnificent job of creating a space with just enough to make it comfortable, no clutter or excess that impede the full usage of the space. We hope to get the chance to stay here again!

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Location! Location! Location! Perfect location for walking into town to shop, eat, and for sightseeing and exercise. This was our first time to Edenton and I love when I can arrive, park my car and not use it again until I leave. Turn left out of the driveway and walk straight to the water, and pass beautiful porches & for us also spring flowers along the way. Take the trolley tour! There is so much history in this area and the tour was fantastic! Jayme was an excellent communicator. We slept well and had plenty of space. We appreciated the water bottles in the refrigerator. It was a wonderful getaway. Thank you.

The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch

Great location and very peaceful. Owners are very nice and quick to respond and suggested awesome recommendations of local businesses and things to do. The house was perfect, very quiet street but close to beach and other activities. We hope to be able to rent this place again when we plan another trip to OBX area. We had a wonderful stay at Diana’s Airbnb off Shore Drive on Denwiddie From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much thought and care went into this place. The attention to detail was incredible—from the beautifully curated décor to the small but thoughtful touches like Band-Aids, cooking essentials, and other convenient extras that made a big difference. The location was perfect, and the space truly felt like home. Thank you, Diana, for creating such a welcoming and comfortable space!

It was the ideal retreat for our two families, with six children ranging in age from 3 to 13. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. There was ample space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The location was fantastic—just under five minutes’ drive to the beach and local shops, nestled in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by trees. It felt wonderfully private and serene. Cindy was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We were genuinely disappointed not to have booked for longer and will absolutely be returning in the future.

I had a conference in downtown Norfolk and ended up booking Leo's place because the conference hotel was booked up. Thankfully, Leo's place is within walking distance of the ferry, and from there it's a quick ride to downtown Norfolk! Leo was an awesome communicator, and the space was exactly what was shown in the listing. The area was safe and walkable, and there were lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. I will 100% try to book this place again if I'm ever in the area.

Barb was very kind throughout the booking process and provided additional pictures and information to assist with the check-in process. The little apartment was exactly as-pictured! Cute and quiet, right by the Nags Head woods. Public beach access is close by, and the location is incredibly convenient for all that OBX has to offer. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the condo it was a perfect base camp for a variety of activities in the OBX. There was a well stocked kitchen which was great as we did a lot of home meals. The condo was nicely decorated, and the beds were super comfy! James was easy to contact and communicated back quickly if asked a question. Was a great stay.

Loved this place! Gia was super kind and so helpful with everything, I unfortunately had left my wallet after check out time and she was super quick and amazing at helping us get back inside. It was super clean and we had no problems, so many great restaurants around and such a nice easy ride to the beach. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend booking with Gia in the future and I hope i get the opportunity to do it again!

We loved our beach getaway because of our accommodation, it was private and peaceful and had everything we needed! Very clean and furniture done in great taste! We spent a whole week and we didn't want to leave. We especially loved the deck with all the beautiful plants and that we could hear the ocean especially at night! A big plus! We are definitely going back! Jules and Scott, the hosts were so welcoming and kind to us and always helpful. The short walk to the beach was beautiful and so easy! What a gem this place is! We had a lovely time at Lauren and Guy's, great communication throughout the process and the guidebook had some great recommendations. Upon arrival we noted how spotless the place was and offered all the needed products to get started. We did walk to the beach and along the neighborhood but chose to drive when we took the chairs (provided) to hang out for a bit. Easy access and parling is plentiful (April!). Very historic area and much to see beyond the beach. We only spent three nights here but found the place to be all we needed. Very peaceful and super quiet. Would certainly return if the opportunity presented.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roshana's place! From the moment we arrived, Roshana made us feel incredibly welcome. The accommodation was exactly as described, if not better. The space was spotless, well-decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roshana went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The location was perfect, close to all the attractions and restaurants, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Communication with Roshana was seamless. She was always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions I had. I truly appreciated her hospitality and attention to detail. I highly recommend staying at Roshana's place if you're visiting Norfolk. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is clean and welcoming, and the provided bikes are a fun way to experience the neighborhood. We came to relax and this was the perfect area for that! We had guests coming into town and needed a place for them last minute. Zoe's place was perfect- plenty of space for 6 adults. Good location, easy to get to. Worked out great and our guests raved!
