We look forward to welcoming you to Ballincard House! Take a step back in time and enjoy the charm of your private apartment located on the second floor of our 19th Century Georgian home. If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. Paddy's Bar/Restaurant in Terryglass is a must – serving good food and velvety Guinness. An abundance of walking trails makes Terryglass ideal for those seeking an activity break.

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.

LakeLands harbour cabin

Private Log Cabin, fronting on to the lake with access to private harbour. Surrounded by mature woodlands, this modern but cosy cabin is positioned on Eastern Shores of Lough Derg, by Garryknnedy. Perfect for holidays at anytime of the year,it's a heaven for fishermen and nature lovers. Excellent for water sports, local forest walks, pony trekking, and relaxation. Makes great holiday base for families, or those who want to get away from it all.
