Saguaro Retreat

Our home is close to a wonderful choice of restaurants, activities, art, and culture. We are in a great location with saguaro cactus and terrific views of the mountains. The saguaro cactus lining our driveway provide a wonderful welcome. The second floor of our home is dedicated to the guest suite. It's very private and has a separate entrance. The guest suite is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We are located 7 miles north of the University of Arizona campus.

Come stay at the Ocotillo Casita at Cat Mountain! Located feet from Tucson Mountain Park and inside Cat Mountain Station, this location is perfect for nature lovers and style hunters alike. The building was built around a John Wayne museum in the 1950's, but converted into three 1,200 sq. ft casitas in 2023. The unique décor in the space is locally sourced, creating a vintage ranch vibe surrounded by Ocotillo. It is perfect for travelers looking to relax in the Sonoran Desert.

The location is so advantageous to all of what Tucson’s downtown area has to offer: coffee shops, breakfast joints, restaurants, bars, music venues, art, etc. The unit is one half of a duplex which was built sometime around 1905. The original shotgun apartment has been beautifully revitalized to show off its colonial charm with acacia wood floors, stained glass art and Tiffany lamps throughout.
