Surrounded by Nature

The Tree House is a perfect, off-the-grid retreat for nature lovers, where you can listen to birdsong, see the sunrise from the deck and hear the river flowing in the valley. Two minutes walk and you come to The Watermill Bakery serving delicious pizza on Friday evenings, except during winter. The Tree House is close to a small productive lavender farm, Lavender magic, who sell cut flowers in season, and Mount Holdsworth, where you will be able to access a wide variety of walking tracks.

Escape to beautiful Castlepoint with this gorgeous bach, perfectly located on the beach front, just a short walk away from amenities, including the Castlepoint store and fishing club. Safe sandy beaches, fishing, boating and water sports, a nine-hole golf course and hiking tracks make Castlepoint the perfect getaway location. Note: in Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to bring your own linen (sheets, towels, dish cloths) and tidy before you leave. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.

The View

On a plateau overlooking the Ruamahanga river valley is our cosy two bedroom fully self contained cottage. The views are jaw dropping, backdropped by the Tararua Ranges. On the river flats below, summer crops form a patchwork of different colours. Above, the big sky can be an endless blue or filled with rolling banks of cloud and truly spectacular sunsets. At night the wondrous canopy of stars is why the region is an official International Dark Sky Reserve. It’s all utterly peaceful.

Perfect for families in the summer or a romantic getaway for a couple in the winter. The view from your bed upstairs is gorgy! . Sorry, not suitable for under 5's because of the spiral stairs. No parties or groups thanks.

The Hut

The hut is a beautifully crafted off the grid cabin located located on a sheep and beef farm, Daisybank, just minutes out of Martinborough . Open the doors right up on a nice day and enjoy the fresh air or cozy up with a blanket on the couch in front of the fire when the weather makes you want to bunker down. The outdoor bath is the icing on the cake to allow you to take in the views while relaxing in the tub
