Set back from a quiet country road, 4km from the villages of Laragh and Rathdrum, 1 hr from Dublin, it is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of Ireland. Enjoy relaxing in the garden also. A beautiful traditional stone built barn converted into a contemporary/industrial/rustic living space with quirky touches. Located in the idyllic foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, on the Wicklow Way, it features an open plan kitchen/living/dining space, a mezzanine bedroom and a spacious wet room. An extension offers an additional boot room/rustic bathroom/loo and paved courtyard. The grounds are comprised of upper and lower lawns set on half an acre. A country pub is within walking distance.

We have restored the building so that it retains its historic character with all modern conveniences. Our unique location provides rural seclusion whilst being within a 500m stroll of local shops, pubs, restaurants and public transport.

The Cottage at Park Lodge, Shillelagh

Set on the grounds of a 200 acre working farm, Park Lodge Cottage dates back to 1760. This newly renovated cottage has maintained the handcrafted oak trusses originally sourced from Coolattin estate, making this an impressive and welcoming space. This beautiful cottage, includes a kitchen/ living area with its own wood burning stove, a double and twin bedroom with separate bath room and utility . This is a self-catering holiday property; guest will have the property to themselves.

All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. A 15 min drive will take you to many Wicklow attractions such as Glendalough, The National park, Glenmalure valley & waterfall, Kilmacurragh Botanic gardens, Greenane Maze, Avoca Mill & cafe and Wicklow Town Hidden Valley aqua park and Clara Lara fun park are within 5 mins drive.

Cottage 3- The Chicken Coop

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place at the home of 90 alpacas. K2 Cottages Farmhouse and Farmyard are nestled in a hollow on the farm. The cottages replaced seven 7x original outbuildings and take their names from the building they replaced. We’ve used the granite, stones and slates from the original buildings in the new cottages. These cottages are very comfortable and are an ideal location to set up base to explore all that Wicklow has to offer
