Renta de alojamientos vacacionales con chimenea en Castro Daire

Over the years we had quiet a few holiday homes but this one is so special and was definitely one of the best we ever had! It starts with the private driveway to the house which makes you feel like queens and kings of ancient portugal. On the one hand the property is extremely quiet because there is nothing nearby except nature and a very small steeet, on the other hand you can walk in 20 minutes to Reriz, the village nearby that is very beautiful and has a wonderful little café and a very special riverbeach, where you can swim, hang out and have a beer. The house itselfe is really beautiful, very comfortable beds, and a kitchen with a astonishing panoramic view. Right next to the house is the wonderful saltwater pool with a terace that also offers a great panorama. And you can swim in the river on the property. PLUS Sherrin and Tony are the most friendly hosts you can imagine, especially friendly and understanding with our noisy kids - this makes you feel really at home as a family.

Casa da Urgueira is a super special place to stay. It’s charming, makes you feel like living in an authentic Portuguese country side home. The house is decorated with cute pieces with high attention to details. Fábio is very quick to answer any doubts you might have and gets out of his way to make things possible. He gave me loads of options to do in and around the town.I can’t recommend this place enough.

We had the best stay at Márcias apartment. My best airbnb experience so far (and I had a lot). She was proactive and recommending us a lot of activities over there. The house was beautiful, relaxing in between the magic mountains was a wonderful experience. I can totally recommend for any person or group that wants to get into nature.

Five stars aren’t enough! We loved the little house. It’s charming and unique and offers all means of comfort you could wish for. We would come back there anytime! The host himself and his parents next door are the sweetest and most caring people. Even when we had questions and problems, they all went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We got support within minutes. I cannot express more how much we recommend this accomodation and how nice Bruno is. Thank you so much, this stay will be remembered 😃

Fantastic airbnb, cozy and luxurious. the contact with the host was easy and they are very friendly and let my friends stay in their campervan on the property. normally she doesn't include breakfast, but she got me a vegan breakfast, so kind! thank you very much!

We had never been to this area so we’re glad we rented a car in order to take a few side trips to some wineries. The place is modern, spacious and very clean. We especially liked the balcony overlooking the River. It would be helpful for more complete instructions in the “welcome book” for how to work appliances. We only used the washer/dryer but there are some great items to use in the kitchen. Beautiful apartment!

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

This is a lovely apartment with parking and elevator. The view from the balcony is stunning! Maria was very sweet and helpful. We had difficulty finding the location and Maria and I did not speak the same language so she had someone call me back that spoke English to help me find the location and answer any questions. Great location, great apartment. highly recommend :)

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

Foi uma estadia fantástica, num espaço diferente mas muito acolhedor e perfeito para fugir à cidade. A casa era linda e todas os espaços comuns também. A piscina ótima e perfeita para relaxar com privacidade e no meio da natureza. Obrigada ☺️

This is a large and beautiful apartment! It was super clean, and the kitchen had everything I needed to cook my own meals for the two nights I was there. Manuel expressed his wishes for me to be comfortable, and I was! He provided an excellent, savory pastry that I enjoyed for my two lunches while out exploring the Douru Valley. This accommodation is highly recommended!

Um excelente espaço para uma familia grande. em quase todos as casas que visitámos a cozinha e sala sao pequenas ou pouco equipadas, mas nesta casa nao nos fatlou nada. podia ter um sofa maior pois tem muito espaço na parte de baixo. Aconselho a visitarem o espaço a pescina de agua aquecida mesmo sendo partilhada chega para todos o jacuzzi privado esta coberto o que me deixou a pensar que mesmo para o inverno é uma casa que qualquer um pode vizitar.

Wir waren sechs Erwachsene und haben 5 wundervolle Tage in Robertos Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war eines der besten Airbnb Unterkünfte die wir bisher hatten. Es passte einfach alles - Roberto und sein Vater sind äußerst aufmerksame und nette Gastgeber, das Haus ist urgemütlich und mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattet, das Grundstück ist ein Traum und liegt absolut ruhig - trotzdem sind es mit dem Auto nur etwa 30 Minuten bis in die wunderschöne Stadt Porto. Es passte wirklich alles und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Wer die Ruhe liebt, es gerne gemütlich hat und ein Haus sucht das mit allem was es braucht ausgestattet ist, sollte nicht zögern und hier Urlaub machen.

Our group had a very enjoyable stay. Diogo was a great host and provided us with flexible check-in. Amazing views of the Duoro River. There is also a great local restaurant Tasquinha do Tio Miguel a 5 minute drive away!

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.

Sítio extremamente calmo, com total privacidade e todo o conforto necessário para um fim de semana tranquilo e relaxante. A casa está equipada com todas as comodidades e o terraço, com jacuzzi à temperatura ideal, proporciona uma vista de cortar a respiração. O proprietário foi sempre muito acessível e atencioso, dando sugestões úteis sobre locais a visitar e onde comer nas redondezas. O acesso é fácil e existe um supermercado próximo que disponibiliza serviço de entrega ao domicílio, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais prática e confortável. Uma experiência que recomendamos!

What an amazing place this is and we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. The breath-taking views, beautiful garden, conveniences of BBQ and swimming pool and close to convenience shops by car. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. Thanks for hosting us !

Tanto Eduardo como Vania fueron muy atentos desde el principio. La casa corresponde a lo que se describe en las fotografías. Las estancias son amplias. Las habitaciones están perfectamente equipadas y los espacios exteriores están cuidados. Sin duda es una muy buena opción si se quieren pasar unos días de descanso en familia o si se quiere aprovechar como punto de partida para conocer otras zonas del norte de Portugal. Sin duda volvería.
