If I could only use one word it would be PARADISE! We’ve been traveling and staying only in vacation rental homes for 10 years now. THIS PLACE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL EVER! This cabin is all the way at the end of the road in towards the mountains! Very private with 360* views! The property is just covered up with mule deer, and there were stellar Jays and adorable little furry eared squirrels! There is no way to describe how wonderful it is to be in the woods of the Manzano Mountains! So peaceful that all you can hear is the wind in the pines! Guy, his wife, mother and all the staff are wonderful people and so eager to make your stay perfect! They also have miniature donkeys, fluffy faced cows, a gym, a zip line, a store where you can buy souvenirs, and apple cider made from the apples in their orchard. We will be back for sure, hopefully next year and for a longer stay! Check out all of their other rentals here on this 140 acre property! YOU WILL NEVER WANT

This place was lovely - from start to finish. We thought this place was extremely warm and welcoming. It was also full of thoughtful touches. We loved the beautiful sunsets on the patio and the views. Mary Ann was a very warm host who made sure we had everything we needed. We tried many of her local recommendations. Overall we had a really wonderful trip here! We hope one day to have an opportunity to come back.

We stayed at the Cabin for a family birthday and could not have picked a better place. There was plenty of room for everyone to gather or to slip away for a private conversation. We enjoyed the unique architecture and the artwork, especially in the downstairs queen bedroom! And it was interesting to learn about the history of the Cabin. The location was an easy walk to restaurants, and the neighborhood felt safe. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was equipped well and we cooked a fair amount. We enjoyed the fireplace. On warm afternoons we played games at the back porch table while some took naps in the hammock. Nikelle was friendly and very quick to respond to all of my questions. Check in and check out were easy and straightforward.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin. The hosts were very friendly to work with and thought of everything in how they set the cabin up. We travel with our two dogs so appreciated the dog dishes and dog bed supplied. The outside area was perfect and so relaxing! We would love to stay here again!

The cabin was cozy, clean, and in such a beautiful location. Lisa was super responsive and extremely easy to work with. We will definitely stay there again.

Such a beautiful peaceful getaway! We enjoyed our week away in such a lovely home with Santa Fe art and decor.

Marc and Suzanne were excellent hosts, we felt safe and right at home. The home is beautiful and well appointed. We had all the items needed for making home cooked meals and delicious coffee. The home had an electric kettle and french press (appreciate the thoughtful process in slowing down and making coffee) which I loved, paired well with great coffee and a gorgeous view of the Pecos River in the mornings. The bathroom had comfy robes provided as well as a hot shower with shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (bonus). I felt like we were in a quaint eclectic hotel. I am an avid fly fisher woman and got to fly fish on the property. Unfortunately due to the early snow melt, the Pecos river was running above normal, CSF > 200 so fishing was difficult on the Pecos river, however the property was close enough for us to go into the Pecos National Park and find the pocket water and we were able to catch wild browns and rainbows! We loved our stay amidst the quiet of the pines! We chose to do a screen detox by watching zero TV and staying off our phones - the kitchen was spacious for slowing down and baking something special, the couch was comfy for reading books, and soaking in the hot tub while some light snow fell was magical. Tending the wood stove for heat was my husband's favorite thing! The memory foam bed was a bit firm for us and we would have liked some light blocking curtains for sleeping in. Overall the cabin was lovely and thoughtfully put together, and we would stay again.
