Mikael's place was amazing. Unlike most places listed around Hydde Park in Chicago, Mikael's place had from great reviews and they were totally right. The place is very well kept, spacious, practical, with very calm surroundings. I had great sleep and having breakfast while looking at the garden was a big plus for me too. I had no issues regarding privacy or noise which is something commonly brought up in listings in this sector, especially in old buildings. Mikael was also very responsive and kind. If I ever go back to Chicago I would definitely consider staying here again.

Thomas’s place was exactly as described and perfect for a group of 4 close friends to get together. It was very clean and well-stocked. The building is safe and secure. Thomas reached out to offer early check in, which was nice. I’m very familiar with Chicago but this neighborhood — River West — has developed so much in recent years that it was like visiting a new city. The biggest surprise — and it was a pleasant one — was how much you could get to if you were willing to walk 20 minutes. (And if not, you are quick rides to some of the best spots in the city.) The only thing less than perfect was the garage. Another car was in the designated spot when we got there. But Thomas’s assistant answered the phone and was able to offer another spot. It is a little tricky getting to the garage and in and out. These are minor complaints about something that is actually a really nice perk…. the free protected parking. Affordable, clean, great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming city apartment. It was clean, well decorated, and stocked with all one could need. The location was ideal for exploring the city, with great restaurants, shops, and public transportation nearby. Parking our vehicle was never an issue with off street parking. The hosts were incredibly friendly, responsive, and accommodating - going out their way to make us feel at home. This was one of the smoothest and most enjoyable Airbnb experiences we have had. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We would have cleaned the dishes we used but could not find the dish soap. Great place!

Avantika’s penthouse apartment was absolutely lovely. The space was comfortable and well-designed, with beautiful bedrooms and impeccably clean bathrooms. The kitchen was modern, spacious, and had everything we needed. Avantika was incredibly kind, helpful, and very responsive throughout our stay. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

Cozy, fun little spot for an overnight! Great access to Michigan City, New Buffalo, Dunes, etc. Adorable dogs. Great vibes all around!

Great place! Very well kept and clean. Tom is very responsive from the time you book. Just be mindful that as stated there is NO where to park if you drive. All in all such a great neighborhood.

Had a great time with friends and we were all able to comfortably hang out in communal spaces, get around the city. The bathroom to room ratio was ideal for a group of girls to get ready and the neighborhood made us feel safe walking around at all times of the day. Would recommend
