The Heart House in NewBo

Once slated for demolition, the Heart House was fully restored to include a first floor art gallery and a second floor Airbnb. Guests especially love the clawfoot tub (unless mobility is an issue) with rainfall showerhead, plus locally made bath products.

Bohemian Firehouse-an authentic 1916 Firehouse

The Bohemian Firehouse was the living quarters for the men stationed there when it was built in 1916. It sits above a retail space which housed the firetruck. The charming brick building is in near original condition, despite surviving a major flood and a derecho. You'll love the gorgeous woodwork, vintage tile and light fixtures. Our place is close to everything! NOTE- Our home will sleep two adults and two children comfortably, but NOT 4 adults. A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. There is a fire pit and wood for a nice relaxing night, if you choose to stay in.
