Down the street you'll find shops and restaurants, and a little further is Petroglyphs Provincial Park, the largest concentration of petroglyphs in Canada, with some over 1000 years old.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from cabin.

Roslin Hall is the ideal country retreat offering quiet and solitude in a pastoral setting. By night sit out back and be mesmerized by the clear starry nights and by day take a drive to PEC wine country. Or just relax and unwind in front of the gas fireplace while prepping a meal in the gourmet kitchen. Please tell us about your group when you request to book. This spacious 1250 sq ft lakefront cottage located on Moira Lake, is one of three cottages on 1.2 acres. Close to all amenities in Madoc ( 5 min away). Moira Lake is 2 hours from Toronto. Get back to nature - fresh air, sun, swimming, stars at night, fishing at dawn. The cottage is perfect for couples and families (with kids) and for the avid fisherman.

Centrally located between Tweed and Madoc. Many boutiques, conservation parks, trails, and recreational activities to do in the area. Go for a hike in the woods along the river.
