The cottage was perfect. exactly like the photos. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The area was stunning. The top marks was for the hot tub. absolutely perfect in the evening to relax. Poppy was easy to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. would definitely recommend and would visit again.

We had a lovely family stay. The cottage and esp the hot tub were fab. Lots for the kids to play with and do, and nice to chill out

We had a fantastic stay at Carley’s cottage. Carley is a wonderful host and was very friendly and welcoming and replied to any messages, promptly. Carley was so kind to let us arrive before check in and leave our food at the property, it was a hot sunny day and the food would have been sat in the car until check in at 4pm. Carley even unpacked this for us and put refrigerated items into the fridge. The house is beautiful and very clean with lovely finishing touches like robes, croissants, coffee and tea. Toiletries provided in the bathroom. Everything you need in the kitchen, including cleaning products, washing up liquid and kitchen roll. The location is fantastic, close to Bath and Bristol and has a lovely pub just down the road, around a 10 min walk. The garden of the property has lots of seating and we enjoyed a few hours sat in the sun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return. Highly recommend. Thank you Carley for making our stay so enjoyable!!

Would totally recommend staying here. The hosts were amazing and the place was gorgeous. Felt like a true home away from home and nothing was too much trouble to ask for.

Stunning cottage,attention to detail is amazing. Very cosy and well equipped, spotlessly clean. Had a welcome basket of crumpets, eggs, biscuits, and one for the dog and crisps. In the fridge was a pint of milk, bottle of orange juice and some butters. There was a mud daddy and towel in the cottage for showering the dog if on muddy walks, luckily we only used it to cool ours down. Access to very good local walks from the front door, and to have access to the paddock was lovely catching the last of the days sun. Maxine and John made us feel very welcome and gave some great tips on walks, the one to the pub was the best. Had a lovely surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as it was our anniversary. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Beautiful. Family weekend break over bank holiday. It was so lovely, quiet, great walks with the dogs( we walked along the river to Monmouth and back, easy flat walk, took about 45/50 minutes, but we do dawdle and play with the dogs!) Garden seating area is a tranquil suntrap, and the house stunningly decorated, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. Easy instructions to get in and lots of local information. We loved the games too! Emma was friedly, helpful and very responsive. Would love to go back, and can absolutely highly recommend it.

Deer View cottage is was absolutely gorgeous! It’s a traditional cottage, so the stairs are steep & takes some getting used too, however do not let this put you off. There is a secure garden for the dogs, however a public walkway right across the road through a wooded area & fields which lead to the village green & cafe! Perfect for a morning coffee. The cottage was extremely clean with everything in place ie towels, hand soap, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets & toilet rolls (including spares). Bathroom & separate shower was perfect when sharing with family or couples. Definitely recommend Deer View cottage, it catered for all our needs including our dogs & the surprise views in the back garden was totally unexpected! Hosts were perfect!

Our stay was perfect, in a beautiful location and very quiet. Spotlessly clean. All cutlery and crockery matched (one of my pet hates is mismatched crockery). Only problem was not having time to do all we wanted but I’m sure we will be back in the autumn

Just home after a perfect 3 night stay with my wife and our border collie. Sad to leave this cute, cozy, comfortable cottage. Perfect location. Easy to walk into Stratford via parks and streets, or go the long way via the racecourse and river. Great Indian food, and also perfect Sunday dinner at the cask and tandoor a short stroll away. Also good food at the bell. Both dog friendly. Cottage is easy to find, great off road parking. Jane is a perfect host and responds quickly to any messages. Hope to stay again in the future.

We had a fantastic time staying at Jason’s property. The house was lovely, it was very clean and very well equipped, it had everything we could have needed, even some games for our toddler to play with. Some lovely touches, like duck food for the ducks who used to visit each morning and some helpful supplies (and treats) to get us started. Location was peaceful but a very short walk to pool and one of the playgrounds on site. We would definitely visit again.

We couldn't fault Ben and Kate's cottage - perfect for us as it was so dog friendly. The secure courtyard made our stay very relaxing as we could leave the door open knowing our lively lurcher couldn't escape! The paddock was a bonus - to be able to let her run free every day was lovely for her and us. The house was cosy, very clean and comfortable. Ben and Kate couldn't have been more helpful hosts and it's definitely somewhere we would love to return to. Parking was easy next to the paddock just a few yards down the road.

We had a lovely last minute stay at Joanna’s. Cottage was beautiful and we had a very relaxing time. We will be back x

We had a fabulous stay at Peter and Victoria’s Coombe Cottage. We truly could not have asked for a better arrangement and setting. The cottage sits on the crest of a hill overlooking the lush landscape below. The cottage itself had all we needed; a comfortable seating, comfortable bed, and the shower was great. The Farm Store just outside Wotten has great meals, simple to prepare at the cottage for the evenings that we didn’t want to eat out. The only disappointment was that we couldn’t spend more time getting to know Peter and Victoria as they left for a trip shortly after we arrived. They are a lovely couple that live in the main house adjacent to the cottage.

This is a lovely cottage with the most incredible woodland to the back of the property for guests to make use of as well as easy access to nearby fields and footpaths - perfect for walkers / dog owners. The cottage is cosy and well-appointed and particular mention should be made of the beds and bed linen, way above the air bnb average in our experience. And it's situated perfectly for access to the Wye Valley and The Forest of Dean. We wish we could have stayed for more than three nights. Thank you, Carol, for a lovely time. Simon and Gail

We’ve just come back from having a lovely long weekend away. The location of the accommodation was brilliant, it was very clean, the kitchen has everything you need to cook with, the bathroom and en-suite was clean and spacious. Linda was amazing and she came over to make sure we have settled in and everything was ok. We would recommend The Farmers Arms which is just down the road or The Hunters Inn which is about 10-15 minutes drive for food. We would definitely book here again as we have only seen a small percentage of the area.

Absolutely beautiful cottage, very very homely, felt extremely at home and it was 100% clean and tidy! Felt so comfortable! Lovely friendly owners! Always on the end of the phone if needed! Only one thing that could be improved would be the shower, the water pressure is a little weak but other than that there was nothing wrong with this property! 100% would recommend to anyone needing to stay in the area.

A really lovely stay. We were very lucky with the weather so got to make to most of the beautiful garden and views which was our favourite part. There's lots of great paths to explore straight from the house. We walked to the dog friendly Red Lion for food through the fields in about 25 minutes. The Fold farm and cafe were definitely also worth a visit for the coffee and cake. I would recommend bringing socks or slippers for in the house as the traditional floors are lovely but cold on the feet.

We stayed for 2 nights and will defo be back. Great location and accommodation. Hot tub was beautiful. Outside and inside space so nice. Alison is on site which was great to be fair. Very welcoming and helpful yet respectful of having privacy. Thank you so much for making me Marc and Trent welcome. Able to walk in your garden and giving us nice loop walk to canal and along cycle path, We really really loved our stay and we will recommend and be back. 😃 oh and the bed was super comfy. Slept like a log. X
