Kalgan Retreat -Pet Friendly holiday accommodation

The beautifully appointed 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom Chalet is located on a semi-rural property, only 15 minutes from Albany CBD. With everything a family could need. We are a Pet Friendly retreat with plenty of room for your pets to run and play. A short walk through the property you will find the Kalgan River, where you can kayak with the family. We have plenty of kayaks for you to use free of charge. We have a few friendly farm animals including Nigerian Dwarf goats, horses and an alpaca.

Mountain Escape next to Porongurup National Park

Wake to birdsong, fresh mountain air and Bluff Knoll through the trees. The Mountain View Cottage is a peaceful family base beside the Porongurup National Park, where private access to the adjoining park and walking trails begins right from the front door. Spend your days roaming forest paths, spotting kangaroos & birdlife, swimming in the dam, playing under big skies or simply slowing down into the quiet. Then come home to mountain views, a warm fire and a cottage that feels easy to sink into.

River’s End Retreat

For couples wanting a romantic escape. Relax and unwind in this bespoke Tiny House overlooking the Kalgan River. Located on 30ac we are a small working farm. Sheep, alpacas and horses graze the paddocks and you may even get a visit from one of our pet kangaroos. From the deck you can listen to abundant bird life and fish rising in the river while enjoying a glass of local wine next to the fire. Close to walk trails, river and beaches come and explore all this amazing region has to offer.

Chesterfarm and Stables

Our property has been lovingly, restored, with a difference. We have one bedroom located off the front verandah and one bedroom accessible from the back entry and two bedrooms within the home, great for two families, giving people their own space. Surrounded by 74 acres, only 5 minutes from Albany CBD. There is a large farmhouse kitchen, beautifully furnished areas. On balmy nights you can huddle around a cosy fire pit under the stars roasting marshmallows and relaxing with a glass of wine

A quiet place, on a bush block, next to the National Park. The guest suite is part of our home & is suitable for singles or couples. The Granite Skywalk & other tracks are not far away. There are local food outlets & winery's that are open on limited days. Mount Barker is 25 klm away & a good place for food & fuel. Telstra has the best coverage here & Internet and television is via satillite. Bluff Knoll & Albany are 40 klm away, with no services inbetween. We can provide milk, on request.

In town, off grid, healthy stay.

Separate entrance from hosts. Only filtered rain water (including showers), non chemical soaps, washing materials, off grid (battery) power, so no failures, organic breakfast foods. No microwave oven but have an electric oven, fry pan & rice/porridge cooker & wifi is available. Large TV with sporting and movie channels available. We have a renovated home, over 100 yrs old, with real character. Please be careful with water usage as we have only rain water, but sufficient for the whole year.

Hidden View

Our Hidden View has an amazing view of the local farm land and Torndirrup National park. Local birds love to join our guests on the balcony for a feed. The Accommodation is not big but practical. It is perfect for a couple. Too small for family. The living area is combine with an open kitchen/dining room opening to the decking which has a mini Weber, a table& chairs. The accommodation is not suitable for children due to safety and the size of the accommodation NO PETS ALLOWED.

City Sanctuary - secluded garden and huge bath

The space is in the heart of town but has a secluded and tranquil feel. This architect designed home is light, spacious and open plan. There is a large deck with couches for relaxing in the garden, a large well equipped kitchen and a deep luxurious bath to soak in after a busy day of sight seeing . Woodlands Retreat is your secret getaway nestled among the stunning Porongurup Ranges on 40 hectares of wilderness, offering jaw-dropping views that will leave you speechless. This romantic hideout has two roomy bedrooms, each with its own rainwater shower ensuite, a private indoor spa for relaxation, a gourmet kitchen, a warm and inviting lounge, complete with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings together. stableBASE is a sunny, architect-designed wing of our home, just a short drive from Albany’s centre, beaches, scenic walks, and National Parks. The accommodation is spacious, thoughtfully designed, with high-quality fixtures throughout, & suits up to 4 guests: • Master Bedroom: Queen bed & ensuite • Second Bedroom: Two king singles & ensuite The living area combines lounge, dining, & a fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, opening onto a private sunny deck.

Train Carriage Farm Stay

Onegum Bed and Breakfast is an ideal country escape located near the Stirling Ranges in Kendenup, Western Australia. The bed and breakfast is a historic train carriage that has been lovingly restored to pay respect to it's rich heritage but to also have all the creature comforts to make your stay relaxing and idyllic. Onegum is also a family friendly farm where you can collect eggs for breakfast, see the emus or hang out with some friendly llamas.

Wolfes Landing - a rustic home on the inlet

Wolfe’s Landing is a beautifully rustic and quirky home overlooking the spectacular Nenamup Inlet. This chalet is named after the original Wolfes Landing - now the Albany jetty – which was the embarkation point for soldiers heading to Gallipoli. Timbers rescued from this jetty are the signature feature of this chalet, and are a poignant and constant reminder of those who have gone before us.
