Set in an ancient Cumbrian village this one bedroom bolt hole provides the ideal base to explore the Eden Valley and Lake District National Park. As well as opportunities for walking and cycling you may visit a Bronze Age stone circle close to the village or explore Roman and Viking history of the area. You may want to do nothing more than idle an afternoon away in your own private wall garden . Please note, if bringing a dog, the garden is not secure. The village pub is only a few yards away.

The Cart House is self contained accomodation accessed via its own front door. It comprises of a comfortable lounge and a small kitchenette with fridge freezer, microwave, sink, airfryer, kettle, toaster and dining table. There is also have a one ring table top hob and a grill. A separate shower room leads off the lounge area. The bedroom includes a king size bed set in the alcove of the original stone entrance. Auld Wash House - snug & modern

Recently and stylishly renovated, this property used to be the communal wash house for the quiet tranquil village of Bolton Low Houses. It's location provides a relaxing getaway while being centrally based for exploring the Lake District, the Solway Coast, the border city of Carlisle, Hadrians wall and the Scottish border. A bus service runs through the village daily which will link you to Carlisle and West Cumbria including the Lakes. You'll find a shop 2.3 miles and a pub just 50 yards.

The Sty & The Stable

A slice of Cumbrian country living is available in this bespoke annex. Sleeps up to 6 people (1 double bed, 2 x double sofa beds all in separate rooms), The Sty and The Stable (with a nod to its former uses in years gone by), offers free parking and all of the amenities you'd need for a comfortable stay. Situated directly in front of a working dairy farm, the property also has its own small holding that includes the resident pig 'George', ducks, chickens, dogs and many more family pets.

La'l Stenkrith

La’l Stenkrith is a self-contained apartment with free on street parking adjacent to the beautifully scenic Stenkrith Park in the rural market town of Kirkby Stephen which lies at the head of the Eden Valley. Recently refurbished it is situated between the North Penines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is convenient for the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors, Pennine Way and Coast 2 Coast route, there are plenty of places to walk and explore.

It has an AGA, central heating, king-size beds with electric blankets, private parking, full cooking facilities and utilities, as well as it's own 'private use' garden facilities with views over sheep farms and the Moffat Hills.

The Suite is located in Newton Reigny which is a peaceful village 5 minutes drive from the historic town of Penrith. 5 minutes to the M6 and A66 allows for easy access to the Lake District World Heritage site (the closest lake Ullswater 15 minutes drive). Free parking on the property's driveway and space also available to store equipment.

Coach House - Bardon Mill

The Coach House is in the grounds of the main house but stands alone and it separate. It has a downstairs living area, and upstairs the bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The Kitchen is fully equipped with fridge freezer, oven, kettle etc, and all of the kitchenware you will need during your stay. The Bedroom can sleep up to 4 adults (Double bed) and 2 adults sized wall bunk-beds. Bedding & towels are provided. Has Wifi and Netflix
