It was a great place. We walked into a clean and cozy house. Beautiful beach area right on the river. Enjoyed a good meal at the Pointe down the road. We would stay again!

De passage à Montebello pour visiter le parc Omega, nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette jolie maison. L’intérieur est très agréable et tout équipé. Coup de cœur pour le grand salon très cosy ! Tout de même assez déçus de ne pas avoir pu utiliser le barbecue mentionné dans l’annonce, car ce dernier n’était pas propre et la grille usée.

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! Looking forward to our next stay, and more amazing family moments. Thank you Meagan!

Beautiful place, better than the pictures. Serene and peaceful. Very clean. Had everything we wanted (breathtaking views, great sauna, as well as being close enough to visit Ottawa and Wakefield).

We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend at this lovely chalet. The house was clean & well kept. Any issue was met with an immediate response from Paul & dealt with in person. I strongly recommend this chalet for a quiet, little getaway.

Josée est une hôte incroyable, accommodante, réactive et extrêmement accueillante. Elle est venue nous rendre visite à notre arrivée pour nous présenter le logement et nous parler de son histoire. Elle a prit le temps de tout nous expliquer clairement et répondre à nos questions. ☺️ Le chalet est absolument magnifique, tout équipé, spacieux, chaleureux et très confortable. Nous étions 11 personnes pour la fête à mon copain et nous avons eu un beau moment entre amis à pouvoir profiter des différentes avantages du logement: spa, pit à feu, magnifique vue sur la rivière, jeux de société, etc. Je vous recommande fortement la visite de cet endroit, c’est extrêmement propre et on ressent toute l’amour mise dans les détails pour rendre le chalet un lieu convivial et accueillant pour ses visiteurs. Merci Josée pour le bel accueil et les beaux souvenirs qui se sont créés au sein de votre havre de paix. ❤️ PS: Nous allons nous ennuyer du beau Nino!!! 🐈

This is our second time renting Kyle’s cottage and we once again weren’t disappointed. This was a much needed quiet getaway out of the city. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed with Nathalie while away on busness. it was warm clean and quiet. provided the perfect setting to collect my thoughts and relax after a stressfull day.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! The hosts went above and beyond, so warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Rob did everything possible to make our stay exceptional. The loft was spotless, ultra-modern, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Absolutely loved this place and the hosts! Can’t recommend more!

Un vrai petit cocon ! Le logement est mignon, cosy, avec une vue magnifique sur la rivière. Idéalement situé à deux pas du village, c’est un endroit parfait pour se ressourcer. La cuisine est petite mais très bien équipée, on y trouve tout le nécessaire. L’hôte est super sympa et accueillant — on se sent tout de suite à l’aise. Je recommande vivement !

The house is outstanding. Everything you need for a perfect stay. Beds are very comfortable and we all slept well. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and beautifully decorated. The views are incredible. Hosts were very responsive plus gave us tips of places to eat and told us things that are going on in the area. Super friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Myriams place. It's a comfortable apartment with everything one needs. Very calm area, close to the town of Lachine and we found a wonderful regional park nearby for hiking.

The perfect place for us to stay in Val David. The house was very well kept and clean. The kitchen area had every utensil, pot, pan you would require to cook a fine meal, something that is lacking in a lot of rentals. The beds/bedding were above average comfortable and clean. The bathroom shower had great pressure and heat control. Could not ask for more in a rental, looking forward to using it again if it’s still available on our next climbing trip to Val.

We first planned to visit Ottawa, but we quickly escaped the city and found this peaceful, quiet place. The indoor fireplace is a masterpiece, and the nearby lake is simply breathtaking. We disconnected in less than 24 hours. Now we can’t wait to come back…

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été charmés par l’esthétique du lieu. L’intérieur offre une véritable ambiance de chalet, chaleureuse et authentique. La tranquillité des lieux correspondait parfaitement à ce que nous recherchions. Tout était parfait. C’était la première fois que nous séjournions dans un chalet aussi bien équipé — nous n’avons manqué de rien. Le projecteur est une petite touche que nous avons particulièrement appréciée. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé l’emplacement du jacuzzi, un peu à l’écart, agrémenté de jolies lumières. Nous recommandons vivement ce chalet et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

**** HIDDEN GEM**** So ill start with the fact that I stayed here with my father last summer for 4 nights and we Loved it, so we re booked it , and this time was AMAZING as well, Nice quiet and private place that has been fully renovated , Also the host was very accomidating with a late check out! I would choose this place again for sure as the price is just AMAZING To... 5.5/5 !!! Thanks and hope to stay again sometime !!

Really enjoyed our stay at Kim and Scott’s cabin. The cabin is quiet, peaceful, and a perfect retreat for a weekend getaway.

We had such an amazing time ! So private and peaceful , so calm.. the views are amazing! We were also lucky to see some deers in the morning , overall an incredible time , we can’t wait to come back !

This place was amazing! My fiancée and I stayed there for 2 nights with our dogs. The host was very helpful, answered promptly, and made sure we got settled in well. This is the perfect place to stay for a quiet cabin weekend! There is no wifi as mentioned in the listing, so it was nice to unplug and enjoy the outdoors, especially with all the beautiful trails nearby. The water is treated with chlorine, which you can definitely smell but there was plenty of bottled water supplied by the host. Overall beautiful place and response host, definitely recommend!

Great stay! If you’re a light sleeper, use the downstairs bed (upstairs bed squeaks when rolling/climbing in and out). Huge shower, clean spaces, wonderful living area. Not too much privacy with neighbours outside, but very relaxed neighbourhood. Sauna and hot tub were clean and warm and felt like a private spa! Only an hour/1.5 from Montreal so good for folks who’d rather stay somewhere quieter. Definitely recommend for a peaceful get-away in a cabin-y environment
