The Downtowner house was perfect for a weekend at the lake! The location is wonderful- so easy to walk to the beach and downtown. The house was clean and had lots of amenities. The hosts were quick to communicate with and gave clear instructions. My kids appreciated the books and toys. The neighbor lady next door was very friendly too- she greeted us minutes after we arrived! One thing to note is there are a lot of stairs and no way to block them so it could be a little risky for small kids. Overall, we would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

I cannot put into words what a postive experience this was, but I will try!! From the beginning, the hosts were very helpful and easy to communicate with. You could tell it was important to them for you to have a nice experience/stay. I had only booked it for one weekend for a women's retreat (there were 9 of us) but I wish I had an entire week to stay! Hillview house is a perfect name for this Airbnb. I bet through every window, and in every season there is a beautiful, yet different, view to enjoy. The house was HUGE and had PLENTY of different spaces for different uses. The kitchen and dining area was a ideal gathering spot and we never felt crowded. The living room was also large and had plenty of seating and places to relax. The game room was SO fun!! What a delight! The primary bedroom was incredible: the generous size, vaulted ceilings, decor, & attached bathroom = fabulous! Not only is the house unique, but the decor is so original and flawless. I would definitely recommend!

The house was great. We stayed long term for work and it felt like home.

My family and I really loved the place. I have never stayed at a rental that provided so many amenities. They thought of everything! We fit 9 people comfortably. Walking distance to ice cream isn’t the worst thing either.

Unique and great place, especially for a large group of people. We were greeted with a welcome gift and great communication with our host. Perfectly located and easy to get to the lake!!

Had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and comfy. Had all the necessities we would need. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and I was able to cook meals every day I was there. Kandice was very communicative and helpful. Will definitely come back and stay again!
