Four Roads Barn is a lovingly renovated cart barn. Finished to a high standard, this self-catering barn blends original features with contemporary comfort and style. Set in rural East Galway it is centrally positioned to explore both Lough Derg and the Burren Lowlands. The heritage towns of Portumna and Loughrea are both 15mins drive away. Nearby attractions include Pallas Karting, Kylebrack Forest and Slieve Aughty Equestrian Centre. A lively village pub is within easy walking distance.

We offer spaces to unwind and be immersed in nature. we live simply in our forest garden growing vegetables ,medicinal herbs and fruit trees and bushes. Our passion is nature and rewilding ,we are happy to share what we have been doing here for over 30 years equally we are happy to leave you in peace amongst the trees and plants of the garden We are close to many places of interest like the Burren National park, Coole park and East Clare Way hiking routes. Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety And Caters For Up To Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
